Yes I do actually and I think he and the Government could have easily stopped the progress we have seen over the last three years or so in making hardcore porn available in the UK.

There are lots of other things I think the Government is doing right too but seriously, do you want me and Giles and whoever else chooses to join in to get all political here or should all political topics be "off topic"?

I'm easy either way. Like almost everyone here, I remember 18 years of the Tories, two huge recessions, hundreds of thousands of people having their homes repossessed, 15% interest rates, three million unemployed (for years) - and a Tory government that said "unemployment was a price worth paying", constant bed and hospital closures in the NHS (never mind the annual winter crisis), the privatisation of the railways - akin to taking the railways and smashing them against a wall.

Currently we have the lowest unemployment, interest rates and inflation for a generation. More people are in work in Britain today than ever before. We are seeing the biggest ever investment in the NHS and education - the biggest hospital building programme ever - shall I go on?

Yes, Iraq and student tuition fees are tough, unpopular issues but let's not let that blind ourselves to the fact that overall we are much, much better off today than we were under the Tories.

Bring Michael Howard on - at least he will help wake Britons up to the choice that faces Britain at the next election.
