APPLE MAC v. PC.... Comments??

Evening!

Thinging of a new computer. A colleague has an Apple which he raves about, but as he's just spent a load of money for it, he's bound to!

Any pro/cons from the Forum on Apple Macs?

The only downside to Apple is that many free software downloads available on the net aren't compatible with Macs so make sure if you buy a Mac you get all the necessary software then

This is slowly changing

Interesting discussion at about this very topic which has been going for for eons



Bottom line is...it really depends what you want to do on your computer
Work that out and its pretty simple as to which is better

I use both. Mac for editing video. PC for wiping my arse on the internet. Would never let my beloved iMac near the internet. But I'm assured they're bullet proof against virus etc. Depends what you want it for. If it's video editing or graphics work, call on www.apple.com/uk

I was a PC user up until May last year, a tiring and depressing experience. Finally saved up enough for my beloved iMac, which I use on the net, for video editing, music, you name it. Quite frankly the best, slickest and easiest to use platform there is.
