It's news Steve & so will dominate the news & papers for awhile yet.

More importantly it could decide what happens to this Government.

Anyway things will quiten down while it takes Lord Hutton a month to write his report.

Might be a few fireworks at the end of it.

Whats the betting that Tony Blair has not got long left as Prime Minister?

Tories.......not with IDS as leader!!!

Anyway they are a sambles as a party at the moment.....they will struggle.

Labour will proberly win but with a reduced majority. Can't see anybody wanting to give the Lib Dems a try.

Age-old political tactics: let something drag on until hopefully everyone gets bored and thus tedium whittles away the importance of it all in the public eye. But perhaps not this time. Come the next election - Labour win or not - you can't help but think Tony's mafia are handing the opposition the gun with wich to shoot them. But can they hit the target?

Public Inquiries are not designed to get at the truth: rather the opposite.

Its all down to the terms of reference...they are usually always to narrow

Makes you laugh sarcastically when you see a document the size of a big screen TV which fails to cover seemingly essential information but then its all about political point scoring and the appeasement of the public not the TRUTH

cheers
