Adultwork

Post by middee »

Models don't need to work for anyone anymore because they can earn more money by working on Adultwork.

But, how long can this last?

As with anything that gets big, it's time will come. Adultwork has already been a victim of multiple online, DOS attacks and has had some serious outages.

Do these Escorts or Models factor this into their earning equations?

And do they pay any tax on their earnings?

If someone is supposedly earning on average ?250 to ?750 per day, then the Tax man is going to come looking for you. Either directly, or by other means, like imposing stricter rules on Adultwork.

You could see the main isps start to block these sites, like they have done with *********, Filecrop, and so on.

If Cameron gets his way then the majority of these sites will be put in the dark and we could see the return to magazine adds and DVDs.

The internet is going through transformation and a clean-up operation is going
on.

So what was attractive to someone before could become the case again.

I'm sure that Adultwork is on the radar and these models could soon be without a place to play.

Then what are they going to do? Beg you for work.

Try reading it again.

I mentioned about anyone that gets too big.

And a possible return to days of magazines and DVDs. That's if Cameron gets his way and all sites are eradicated from being seen in the UK.

Can you remember the days when the internet wasn't the main place to distribute porn?

Models existed and so did VHS, DVDs, Contact Mags, and Sex Shops.

Sorry my mistake :

That should read " that's if the majority of all sites are eradicated from being seen in the UK".

Jimmy. I don't know how old you are.

But I'm old enough to remember when we didn't have mobile phones, the internet, central heating, microwaves, or a car.

The demand for these things has always been there and it will never go away.

People may have invented or found new ways to make these things easier. But, if you take them away you will be surprised at what people can do.

So the answer to your question is yes.

This is how they used to do it, and no doubt the people will do it again.

Most people have at least some idea of how massive and widespread the porn business has become. I believe that the smart people in the business will always be able to find succcessful ways to take the money. Not necessarily in the medieval way that I also remember quite well. Communications Technology is likely to evolve into something that we might not be able to imagine right now. Now that people world-wide have unprecedented freedom of expression it would be very difficult to remove it from them without a fight.

I can`t see the days of waiting for the postman to call return, but I`m sure there`ll always be simple ways of getting as much adult entertainment as we want.

Less than 40 Jimmy and I can also remember outside toilets.

I don't think that we will ever go back to the postal days Chuck.

But my point is, when something gets big enough to be on the radar you could be in trouble.

Adultwork could become a victim of it's own success, and I hope these women have some contingency plans, because things may not be that rosy forever.

I cannot see us going backwards but always forwards.

I believe with technology its a case of roll with it or get rolled over.

Im sure some of us dinosaur producers left have seen returns on investments dwindle with the onset of technology

This is far bigger than the porn business. Mainstream entertainment has take a knock a lot worse than porn though statistically I reckon porn is what drove it all in the direction we see today

I've always believed the BBFC like any other company with hindsight has tried to future proof itself which is probably why Pete Johnson left the BBFC to spearhead ATVOD

Oh but Jimmy Jimmy nice one for proving my point that you are in fact the bullying jerkweed you accuse me of by the way you responded to Middee. But thats your style all the way. Maybe you think yourself the all seeing, know all about the porn industry? Youre welcome to it. Just try having a bit of tact. If I lack that with you its because you deserve it

As for Adult work, I can only say that people ho know no better will always put all ttheir eggs in one basket and we all know what will happen when the bottom drops out of that dont we?

Runny yucky eggs everywhere

I know Jimmy champions AW and I ddo see it ass a good thing but I also wonder if the platform will ghettoise the business into a corner whee it will not have room to maneuovre

Lets face it if the owners were unscrupulous, whats to stop them shutting down AW and taking the money? No one knows who they are.

We've seen this happen with billing companies in the past Remember E passport and how that changed the afiliate landscape forever.

You' never get straight answers like this from the all wise and all knowing Jimmy Jimmy of course because he says we are all clueless and want to keep all this juicy stuff to himself

Jimmy Jimmy is a very very bad man. He is not your friend but you already know that anyway.
