why are the clips on Adultwork so short??? why are there no full-length movies available of the pornstars?

Because thats what people believe the consumers want and this is dictated by sales. I'm lead to believe the full length films do not sell as well as the short clips which , if you think about it is like an AB repeat on your remote control...Just to bash one out over the best part of the video by choosing which bit you like most

Clips are short on AW because AW set a minimum selling price of 10p per megaByte which would make long clips disproportionately expensive. The "Rental" movies are a better deal - often 20 mins or more for a few pounds.

Gone are the days of 90 min / 120 min films, we do content share with people who think a 20 mins is a full length film so its anything for quickness now days so its not just punters who want these wacky little films lol!

Go on the rentals & see what longer films you can find x

this is the thing, I appreciate Terry's comment and understand that, but the "rental" option isn't something I'd be interested in, if I'm spending money on porn, I'd like to "keep" it for as long as I want to, I still have videos from Lolly Badcock's site before it closed and I still watch those so I feel like I'm still getting the money's worth for them.

but "renting" a scene isn't something I'd want to do, I prefer to download and enjoy at my own leisure and then if I delete it, it was my choice to do so and in some cases I have actually re-joined sites to either get newer scenes or download an "old favourite" again.... which is why I'm confused as to the setup on AW where the videos are less than a few minutes, for the same price as a month's subscription to another video site with "full" (20 mins) scenes from DVDs (talking about Videosz.com and Videobox.com here)

It just confused me as to whether it's a money maker or not... I guess it must be, so it could just be my personal preference to watch a 20/30 minute scene (even a solo one) rather than a few clips of the "good stuff" that Terry refers to

It's actually very easy to download the videos and pics on adultwork. So if people are regularly spending cash on there I presume they are in the know on how to keep the content they are paying for.

I have some longer clips and they actually sell better that the shorter clips I also have put up, don't know if there long enough though at 10-15 mins

I spend a lot on AW clips. Don't like the rentals though because they are DRM protected, which means you can only watch them for a day or a week (depending on how much they charge), the unlimited option is usually too expensive just for one scene. I also would prefer to keep the scene if I pay for it rather than have limited viewing time.
