Do Pornstars care about the "fans"?

Its something that has really got me thinking. Do pornstars actually care what there fans think, say or that they are admired. Or is just like a regular 9-5 where you go in work and its just business?

It's like most things in life and depends on the girl..some love there fans,to others there a meal ticket....the girls who last tend to be nicer...just my opinion...I could be wrong lol.

No maybe that is correct. i can think of at least two female stars that post on here fairly reguarly and have been around a few years and have a rapport with there fans.

As long as they have money and keep subscribing to their websites I'm sure they love them.

I'm sure they're not so keen when five years after they've retired a fan comes up to them in Tescos and says 'So, In Anal Gang Bang Fury 5, when you did that double-anal, what was your motivation?'

At the end of the day, without wishing to be negative, it's just wanking material. There can be girls you like, but to be a bonafide fan of someone in porn seems a little strange to me.

I would imagine that the very famous people are content, and would expect, to be recognised when out and about - they are 'official pornstars' if you like (their name well known in the industry, they get interviewed in magazines and occasionally on tv, have websites that earn money each month, etc). It's like being a big selling popstar. Then you've got the other ones, who make many films and are known amongst the porn buying comminuty, but who do it in secret and the cash-in-hand money only really keeps them in clothes, make-up, nights out, 2 weeks in Malaga in the summer, etc - and their friends, and the rest of their family who live with them in the semi in a suberb of a pronvincial English town, are none the wiser.

I am certain they would be a bit alarmed if approached in Tesco's and were chatted to about their porn career - because it isn't something 'they' do, it's what the 'other them' does. In their home environment, away from it all, where it's all secret and never discussed, it 'doesn't happen'. David Bowie was always David Bowie at home, or when down the pub. He only became Ziggy Stardust on stage. You could see Ziggy at the Hammersmith Palais, you could never see Ziggy in Sainsbury's in Balham High Street, or coming out of the house where Bowie lived.

So for a UK pornstar, or retired pornstar, to be recognised walking down the street in the area she lived, might freak her out a bit. I can understand this to a certain extent but not fully - it is slightly disingenious. I mean, they want fans, they need them in order to be popular, and they want to be popular so they continue to get booked for shag films, and earn money from porn. Therefore it is inevitable they will be recongnised and approached as that is the nature of the beast. I would say exactly the same about popstars who feel they can dip in and out of it at leisure - where they want publicity in order to get career advancement and cash, then don't want it if it comes along at a disagreeable time. People should be all in or all out. Taking the rough with the smooth.

I?m sure they all do to some extent. Yet how many ?porn stars? generally chit chat on this very forum? Very few! It maybe because they are shagged out after a hard days work but most likely it?s because they have a life outside the porn bubble.

Like most of us they work to pay the bills. If someone started talking work to me in Tesco I would be most unchuffed.
