I wouldn't hold your breath for to long on that request , i joined this site as well after watching the promo video of the girls who were stated to be on the site. . . strange that once you join they are no where to be found!!

Perhaps it's just me being cynical but why do these people who operate and own these sites treat their customers in this way , found this site very difficult to download vids not aol friendly at all , better on internet explorer even then the server keeps re-setting when you download , and the photo gallery what a joke !!! best bit on this site is the cancellation page.

You've made an incorrect assumpton that those in the trailer would be inside.Unfortunately seeing is believing

I've no doubt that in due course those girls wll feature
Might take years but they will appear

Maybe a review of what is actually on the site will help others make an objective assessment of the site...5 sites from the top

In my experience if there isn't a video sample of the girl during the sites tour then your taking a lucky dip by signing up

Best to put it down to experience and move on

This site has plenty of warning signs that your taking a chance

No video samples apaprt from the trailer
No FAQs

but then thats the lure of 500 hours of EXCLUSIVE content

Correct i did make the assumption that this site would deliver what it promised, and there in lies the core of every thing that is wrong with a large number of UK owned and operated porn sites , they all assume that you will be taken in by what they are offering and rely on our gulability to sign up and line their pockets with our hard earned money.

You added that most of the girls that they mention that are on the site will appear at some time in the future , fine well why can't they state that and also state that you could find down loading the clips isn't the easiest operation in the world and certain browsers won't work, surely they must be aware of this? , and when you are finally able to acheive this a large number of the video downloads end just as soon as they are about to get juicy and interesting (maybe another ploy to get you to buy the video from the sister site).

I also agree with you to move on which i have done , but i like tell people what they are buying into and then they can make up their own minds.

My advice Big Bear (I realise that it's too late for this site) is that I always allow a new site time to bed down before deciding to join. The bedding down period could be anywhere between 3 and 6 months.

This is the difference between well run organised sites and other sites who come along and try to compete and are totally out of their depths.

Lets face it the material they are offering is all late 80s and 90s genere and that is the main appeal , seeing the so called superstars of the uk porn industry when they were in their prime.

What is their initial outlay on videos and pictures that are well into double figures in age , the models were all paid years ago there is no expensive studio time to pay for and the same would apply for the photos no doubt.

Bang bros in the US , Euromaxx in main land europe and Lady sonia in the UK these sites probably the best you could wish to join , regular up- todate videos of the highest quality and crystal clear , superb photos and video captures all in all the real deal , they didn't take 6 months to bed down.

These sites all deliver the goods while others are just mere players in the game and given time will fall by the wayside, cream always rises to the top.

I was in two minds whether I should dignify this grubby little thread with a response or simply ignore it - since most of the contributions to it are clearly vexatious and stem not from disappointment with the website (two of them haven?t even seen what?s on offer), but personal issues they have with me, my style, and the views I air on other parts of these forums. And ?Big Bear? seems to have thrown his rattle out of the pram simply because ?his? favourite bird hasn?t been unloaded yet!

When I was composing the intro blurb to VideoAngels.tv I obviously wanted to convey the full range and breath of our model and video inventory ? to give potential members an idea what models we had and what kind of video action we had to offer. It?s purpose wasn?t to say this specific model and this specific sequence is on the site, right here, right now. Because when I composed the intro blurb and did the artwork for the front end there were no models at all on the site. But I still had to create some artwork that would give the potential member an idea of what to expect. There was no intention to deceive, no sharp practice, no conspiracy. All the models mentioned and the images that you see on the site are from actual Angel?s videos that will be published on the site in due course. I note that at the time of writing there are 55 movies and a total of 108 .wmv files. Three of these have been added in the past 7 days ? Alicia Rhodes, Alicia & Rebecca Dee and ?Naomi?. But Big Bear seems to expect that everything we have (450 + movies, which would take 3-4 years to edit and upload at an entirely respectable rate 2-3 a week) should be there from day one. But it?s just not possible. Or is he suggesting that we should spend a few years building the site and uploading all the content before we go live?

Big Bear went on to sneer at our complimentary ?Photo? section, deriding it as a ?joke?. But it?s no joke. Videoangels.tv is primarily a video download site (hence the ?TV? bit in the title and domain name). It was never intended to be a ?picture site? and hasn?t been sold as such. However, we did do have a few unpublished photosets that were taken at the time the videos were filmed and which have been lying around gathering dust for the past decade or so. Granted, they not the greatest photos in the world, but many of them are of models who are still very popular ? and consequently, someone, somewhere, will want to see them. So while we were constructing the site I thought this would be the perfect (and only) opportunity to publish these photos ? as a complimentary extra - like you get on DVD?s. I though it would add a little bit more value and interest to the site. Scanning and retouching the photos has taken quite a bit of my time ? so maybe I shouldn?t have bothered?

The technical issues re downloading I have already dealt with on another thread explaining that - hey, we had only been live for three weeks, and experience of other sites suggested these issues are not at all unusual. In fact, here?s a direct quote from the Support Page of a well regarded download site ? namely, Terry?s ?Real Couples?.

The upshot is, yes it?s a niggle, but if this is your kind of content, then it?s not a real issue.

Big Bear goes on to insinuate a further dark conspiracy regarding movies stopping before ?the good bit? (not sure what he means). But by now I get the feeling that he?s flailing around looking to seize any loose straws, lest he appear petty ? In fact he?s only one of two real members that have complained so far.

It?s a sad fact of (web) life that if we gave customers 1080P, full screen, 100mbs downloads of Claudia Schiffer sucking Jude Law?s dick, plus an introductory offer of a 2 weeks all expenses paid trip to Bali for just 10 quid, then some divi somewhere would pop up and claim that he had been swindled - ?Her hair wasn?t blonde enough!? ?His bellend wasn?t purple enough!? ?The sea wasn?t blue enough!? Webmasters will know what I mean.

There probably aren?t going to be any more movies of, Teresa, Linda, Gilly and the rest. The only material that will be available will be the stuff that the few remaining 90?s video firms have squirreled away. So when Big Bear says he?s off, three words spring to mind ? nose, spite and face.

VideoAngels.tv will continue to publish at least 2-3 classic British model movies per week.

But on the tour pages it states:
"The upshot is that VideoAngels has over 500 hours of unique classic British glamour girls movies.......VideoAngels TV are now offering you the chance to tune in and view this unique and fascinating repository of classic UK adult model movies right here, right now, on your computer in sumptuous WMV."

Why don't you just show on the tour the videos that are currently available inside for members?

By showing material that isn't available you're falsely advertising the product and deceiving people, whether you meant to or not.

He's not suggesting anything. He's simply expecting to see what he was promised on the tour pages. If you update the tour every time you add a new video people will know what to expect for their hard earned.

Hi Simon.

OK, yes, these are valid points that I will address in forthcoming amendments and redesigns of the site. Maybe I was a little naive when I embarked on this project (it's my first pay site). But this has not been a totally negative episode. I have learned valuable lessons here, including never, ever, leave lying around any loose sticks with which those who wish you ill might later beat you with.

I'll definitely take all the points you have highlighted into consideration when I come to design a new site.
