Anybody got an update on Jobbydealer and the www.jobbydealer.com site? It still has the up after Oct 10th msg.
I can access it with this url http://www.jobbydealer.com/catalog/adva ... &x=11&y=10
and the search facility still works.
I called the site's phone number but get a continuous ring everytime.
Anybody throw any light on the situation?
Cheers.

Re: Jobby where art though?
Exactly. October 10th was a huge disapointment for me, as I am (or should that be was?) a big fan of Jobby. I'm really curious about what went wrong as well - although I respect that it's a private matter for Alec to tell us about if, and when he chooses to. The biggest shame is that the site seemed to die just at the height of it's popularity, and without warning too. I miss being able to buy retro mags so easily (yes, I know there are other sites out there, but none of them have anything like the range or offer the service levels that JobbyDealer did), and most of all I miss the Jobby forums and magazine reviews. At least you can still read the old reviews (but not see the forums) on the link given by BGPROG.
However, I guess we will never know what happened, as I fear that the Jobbydealer site is unlikely to ever rise again now. Very sad, and if Jobby himself is out there reading this: cheers mate, you had the best site on the internet - hope everythings OK with you, and may your mighty empire rise again!
