I worked with this guy previously and he messed me around he claimed 'I'll pay you ?70 on the day ten the magazine will send you a cheque and then you have to reimburse me the ?70 i paid you' also he goes under different names and he has a 'modelling' site where he promotes himself with photos models have sent to him!

Now recently he sent two pics of me and my boyfriend we did pics for my site all copywrite to me and the photographer doesnt have a site and agreed all copywrite now this man 'JERRY' is emailing them to me saying how i should split with my boyfriend because he obviously has been putting them around the internet and he is accusing me of lieing about doing boy girl as he wants to fuck me basicly! and now he replied when i asked him where he got the pics from saying 'well looks like your bf has been selling your pictures.I'd make him your ex if I was you as for telling you where i found it, my little secret....' now my boyfriend doesnt want pics of himself on the net thats why i took them off my site im thinking this loser took them off my site when they were on there and now using them to make my boyfriend out to be a freak although if he did find them on the net im worried about it, what can i do ???

The deal with him the '?70 now and you pay me back when the magazine send you a cheque' i never recieved a cheque and he emailed me asking if i wanted to work with him again and i said no since my last pics werent ever published and he emailed me back saying they were, so you get paid ?70 for a whle days shooting (in yorkshire or somewhere up north) and dont get published...

It all sounds very sad, unprofessional and schoolyardish - 'He said this, I said that, so he said,' Ner ner na ner ner!'

I advise; be professional, act professional and talk professional - that will intimidate the idiots and they won't bother contacting you, or if they do, they will melt away quite quickly when they realise that you are not one of their number and they won't be able to mess you about.

Maybe, you should ask for a trade reference before accepting a booking? A reference from a longstanding model or producer who's bona fides are beyond reproach i.e. not someone who has just done a couple of amateur type 'shoots'. Some of the glamour models I work with would simply not entertain 'amateurs' or even certain other professionals! I only get them because of my bona fides (built up over the past decade) are endorsed by other premiere league models who know me and know I am like the proverbial Joe Cool.

I worked with him right at the beginning when i 1st really started before i knew what rates to charge etc now im all clued up with rates and thats another reason why i dont travel to photographers im glad all i got was a low paid job... I only work from studios or photographers home studio/hotel room with 2 refrences and if they cant provide them i dont work with them.. i had a photographer get angry at me for asking for two references because he couldnt provide them but he owned a model website and id posted on his forum for years but i still asked he could provide so i didnt work with him. Im not EVER taking a risk

Emma isn't there a way you can trace this idiot through his ISP?

One of mates Missus was getting disgusting, degrading emails from an ex work colleague. He traced him through his ISP and found out his address and then emailed his address to this loser saying that he knew where he lived and if he didn't stop then.......

The bloke stopped and he never heard from him again.

I'm not sure how you trace someone through there ISP myself but I can find out if you wish. Alternatively someone on here should know how.

I'm not suggesting that you threaten this bloke as this might set something off but emailing him his address so as you know a bit more about him might get him to piss off.
