I yield to no one in my appreciation of Salieri and Dorcel products, but I can't resist noting that Salieri made a porn film set in Bosnian concentraion camps and that for many years Dorcel's main director was the late Michel Ricaud who was fond of rape as a theme (one which was also the main focus of one of Dorcel's earliest releases, one which he directed himself, Les Mauvaises rencocntres - note the American title to that, 'Who said they didn't understand irony?', he said ironically).

I'm not saying there was actual abuse of the female performers in these films or that porn can't deal with these themes ever, just that there may be several levels to this debate.

Having worked for Salieri in Italy, I can testify both he and the Italians are whole subject matters on their own, what with nuns, priests, pensioners etc This guy has the film crews from films like "A Few Dollars More", assisting him, I would say he is one of the few really talented, (but mad) people left in porn.

In one scene I remember, the poor studs had to keep hard-ons for over 8 hours, as he laboriously, pieced it together minute by minute. Oh dear, directors should be responsible - what, to you? They should only produce the films you want? Why? What gives you the moral high-ground?
