Well Isabella. Where shall I start?

In short yes. Ive done a great deal more than you and furthermore you dont have to join UKAP because you are not a producer. Furthermore if you've retired, what are you even doing posting on this subject?

Have you not got a job elsewhere yet?

I was at Sadlers Wells in 2004 and was part of the big push that made it industry standard for the 30 day testing of HIV and STD tests...Where were you then? Probably not around for being under age perhaps?

I ve employed a lot more people than you in this business where as you probably took money from those employing you.

Ive helped producers out over the years for free. What have you done?

So all you've done is not sign up to UKAP? Well thats one favour youve done them already then. For your information (and everyone else) UKAP is not my site. Its not my association either. Its members are all independent and not some old boys club. In fact I think you know some of the people in it and I assumed they were friends of yours but I could be wrong.

It must feel really productive being where you are trying to trivilalise other peoples efforts.

As for having friends in this industry, how do you think I got them? Respect has to be earned and it seems you have none if the emails telling me to ignore a girl I dont even know nor had any personal dealings with is anything to go by.

As for making my amateur movies. Ive been doing well out of it for 15 years now so I really dont know what point you are trying to make except to say thanks, I will continue to do so.

Why am I even justifying myself to you? Why are you making this personal?

I dont even know you.

Anyway this thread is so far off topic now its not even worth continuing as its just become a lets flame Terry for trying to do something which I dont mind because it exposes the snakes..Of which you seem to be one so thanks for the heads up Isabella. Youve made this personal now.

Just remember who started it.

I think it would be a great idea if the UK adult biz had a online database if....

A) People got tested at one of 2 locations - Regent Street in London or Medilab in Manchester

B) All Producers/ Performers must join the UKAP in order to obtain a password in order to access the database...

OK i'm gong wait for the response of people don't want to pay all that money for a test or pay for the expense of travelling to go get a test done, but the amount of times i have heard girls/guys have to turn down work as their test won't be back for a week or so how much money do they lose out on for the sake of ?200....

Maybe if some one like Terry could contact these Labs and work out some kinda of discount for adult perfomers at a reasonable rate of ?60/?70 a test, at AIM they charge $120 and your test in back in after 1pm the next day...

At the end of the day its your health....

Embossing original documents.

Post by jimslip »

Some clinics in the UK and certainly in Hungary, emboss the original cert to stop alteration and forgery.

Perhaps some one from the pro on-line certs lobby would mind telling me how will this embossment magically appear on the cert that has been uploaded by a performer and in turn how will someone download the embossed ie guaranteed, untampered with, version?

Hey Keiran. Way ahead of you man. Thanks though.

Jim..What do you suggest then? You are part of the UK adult industry. Are you in favour of embossing certificates then?

Are yo uprepared to do something about it?

In fact, all those who oppose the online certs are you prepared to back it up by doing something to make it happen?

Well?

I agree with you about how certain people can frighten off some performers from posting......fellow UKAP member 'jaykay' being one such person when one model came here asking for advice.... The mods had to delete his attempts at shouting her down. I'd worry for younger, newer girls who come asking for advice on a forum with his sort around. But I digress....

I still think it fairer to include fans, performers, and producers alike, on an open forum like here, where it's harder for small cliques to push things through. But this is just my humble opinion, which you've made clear, isn't important.

Look back through the archives and you'll see that I've championed the need to lower the spread of infection within the industry; I'm not dismissing your idea for a laugh, or to be awkward.

Let's be frank: the girls and producers know who fucks around with their tests, or which girls have been escorting all weekend. Stop booking them and you'll cut the infection rate in half without the hassle of setting up websites and thinking up fancy ideas.

AIM works in LA because it's cheap, and everyone in porn is 20 mins away. It's not the same here where there's less work, the tests are far more expensive and there's not one single health authority up and down the country.

What will this online database change in reality? I just can't see the point that's all.

What are you ON ABOUT?????

Post by TheDonkeyWork »

Who said anyhting about it being available to EVERYBODY?

I just said it should NOT be initiated or administered by some quasi-self proclaimed "UK Masters of the Porn Industry"!

If this scheme is going to have any clout it needs to be organised/administered by the clinics themselves - or maybe even some charitable trust - with direct links to the clinics and NO links to UKAP or any producer or similar with such a stake/interest in the industry.

Yes, access need only be to producers and models - but the outfit organising and administering this should NOT be directly linked to producers or models.

Get the clinics on board, get the clinics to put records of the tests online but this need only be done by reference to a models/performers "unique ID number" - ther eis no need to have scanned copies of thier certs online... just a record of the date and validity of their test and some method of recording who they have worked with so that, if necessary, they can be !quarantined" in the event of the unthinkable.

Who is that then?

Work is going on to bring the clinics in on this.

Why shouldnt it be linked to the producers or models? This service is with them in mind and I'm sure they want to know how their details will be handled. if it isnt done right then an outside company may see fit to print personal details.

Now your talking. That sounds ok to me. If we can get the clinics on board. Which I'm hoping. Ive discussed with one clinic already and they are happy to discuss this.

Sam lets make this clear. UKAP is not a clique. Its a bunch of independent producers who do their own thing who meet up and discuss things that affect them and their business.

people should really get this circle of friends trying to take the industry over out of their paranoid minds.

Ive got a lot of the support from non members so far. They are the ones who can make this a reality if they really want to.

Contrary to what you may beleive there are some in UKAP that dont agree with online certs either so thta show much of a clique we are.
