I do see the point your making Be-Seen-Here but I don't agree. Sorry but I just don`t think there should be different rates depending whether its for published work or non published because the model is still doing same job.

Lets say models charge more for published work, what would happen is photographers would book the models saying it's for non-published and then publish it anyway. And if was other way and models charged more for non published then the amatures would just say to the models it was for published that they were planning publishing it making a website or something. What am i saying is that no matter if i think it's wrong or you think it's right, it simply wouldn't work on the big scale.

I do understand what your saying though when likening to escorts, for a lot of amatures booking models it is like getting a dirt cheap escort, if they book an escort they pay anything from 100ph upwards and probable not allowed to take a photo or video but can book a model for much much less, but what i say to that is it is models choice if she is happy with the arrangement then there is no harm

Fair enough and I agree to a point.

The reason UKAP put it up there was as source of reference to new girls when working for producers whose sole intention is to produce works for sale.

A lot of girls have no idea what to charge and dont know other girls coming into the business. The fees quoted are generally paid by most producers anyway.

Personally i think it doesnt make any difference these days whether it is published or not as some amateurs will only go and sell it to get their money back on adult work or some site that doesn't care about 2257 unless their site is ever picked on to prove the age of a girl who looks on the wrong side of 18 and you are most likely to get your site shut down immediately and if the model is on the wrong side of 12 years of age you can expect a dawn raid from the flying squad knocking down your door with their dirty great size 12 boots.

Most models are clued up pretty quick these days by their peers. The way I see it, if you make an offer and a girl doesnt accept then end of story. I used to get girls who told me they charged 2k...Guess what? I just didnt work with them and then a few months later they would be working for a photographer doing anal and dp with numerous photosets for ?150.

Im really surprised this thread has gone on so long. Nothings changed and nor is it likely too. Its been the way it has for years.

Try and set up a model association or union and people will just not work with you...it has been attempted 5 years ago and didnt work

If this was america the girls would be charging the amateurs more for what they would consider to be exclusive material.

Doing porn in the US is considered a marketing tool to earn more because of it.

Yeah yeah I know..We are not america etc

When i first started out I didnt get cut any slack so why do amateurs feel they should pay less for the same thing?

Photographers I can understand if they are just shooting solo girls even with toys but if video is involved..Whats the difference? To a model its all the same.

Sorry but i don`t grasp why video should be ?10ph more, the model is doing the same job same levels no matter stills or video. Ok if it is just an all video shoot perhaps I could understand.

I haven't come across any model asking more for video, ok so I haven`t worked with all that many but even the ones that have communicated with but not gone ahead and booked, none have ever mentioned different video rates. To begin i would book a model for 2 hours and when doing that yes i was having to pay between ?120 - ?150 which is why i changed to booking 4 hours because when you ask models a rate for 4 hours the most of them quote ?200 (it varies from 100 - 400+ but the most of the models seem to quote around 200) and it makes good business sense for everyone, if your a model an you gotta travel say 2 hours or more each way to a shoot then really it is your whole day taken up or the best part of it anyway so you may as well be getting as much as you can coz it don`t matter if you are there 2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours you still have the same travel time and stuff so you may as well be getting more money for your day and anyway it is way it always works that buying anything in bulk works out cheaper and benefits both seller and buyer .

YES because at the end of the day there is nothing to guarantee that the personal use only movie will never end up being published one day.

Models charge more for video as it earns whoevers shooting the film more in revenue than pictures, i charge the same rate for hardcore pics or video & people ask me why i dont do hardcore pics cheaper but i am still having sex at the end of the day so why not charge the same.
