Maybe you missed the obvious dig, crofter?

I'm not too sure but I'm sure Mr Carac was aiming at your mate, CFC, who constantly refers to Spurs and Grant as 'Yids', as well as the Irish and Scousers as 'Paddies'.

Apologies to Carac if I got it wrong!

Yes I don't doubt it Sam but I am sure you also missed the obvious question that was DIRECTED at Caractacus and not your good self ... still I don't doubt Caractacus will be along at some point to perhaps defend HIMSELF ... thanks for your time though .... CFC aint exactly my mate so not sure where you get that from (as his view is largely his own I would guess) - although I don't hold massive grudges like some of you guys oh so obviously do ... perhaps you should maybe have a think of the generlisations you throw about??

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

Not here for an argument, crofter. I was just giving you the 'heads up'.

It seems that it's you holding the grudge.

I did think it was obvious I wasn't having a go at Mr Abramovich, or you Crofter, or Ace or the majority of Chelsea fans. But, as Sam suggested, there is an element here that throw racial, cultural and sexual epithets around like confetti, then get upset when some of it sticks to what they themselves hold dear.

If I have fallen in your estimation, though, it must mean I was higher up at some stage than I could possibly have dreamt.

Mr Grant, in the first few weeks after his appointment, looked like a fish out of water. But then his team started getting results, and dragged themselves back into the championship race. He himself has been nothing but a gentleman in his dealings with the press and public, in spite of some vicious attacks on him. I wish him all the best for his future, and think the English Premiership will be a poorer place without his integrity.

Incidentally, well done to your boys for their cup victory today. It was a banana skin waiting to be slipped on, but Rangers managed to win through. They deserve a long, relaxing break after that marathon of a season.

For getting into 2 finals and still being in the running for the EPL he deserves a lot of Kudos but Trophies won are what they are judged by
at that level

Maybe Harsh but Trophies are money spinners
No one remembers who finished 2nd

0 trophies out of 3 = goodbye thanks for coming

He was always going to be a stop gap Manager imho no matter what he won

I'm constantly amused by those who are convinced Gus Hiddink is next in line. Abramovich wants Russia to do well as much as he wants Chelsea to, and there is no way that he'll move Hiddink from the Russia job when he can get someone else for Chelsea.

Hiddink himself long ago said that the Russia job would probably be his last in football at managerial level and that he wasn't interested in club football any more as he found the day-to-day stuff too much for him now.

Still, I suppose if people keep reading the red tops they'll be ill-informed about most things, not just sport!

I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see Mark Hughes given the job with Zola as his assistant... two old boys who the players would respect. Hughes has the mental toughness for the job and has done well with both Wales and at Blackburn on a limited budget. If he could bring Bently and Santa Cruz with him, all the better!

Grant was too spineless... what sort of manager allows a player like Anelka to duck out of taking a penalty on the spurious excuse of not having warmed up??? Beletti had less than a minute on the pitch before taking his (and scoring!!!). Somehow I can't see someone like Hughes taking any shit from any player... whatever his salary.

After reading this whole thread, some of you people ought to get journalist jobs with gutter rags such as The Scum.

I'm not at all surprised, neither bothered at 'The Gormless One's' departure. He was only brought in as a temporary measure, and he knew that was going to be the case as well.

As for the next manager.Jose returning?-yeah right

Ideally,i'd like to see Mark Hughes get the job. He's done wonders for Blackburn, and he would command and get the respect from the players.

Morelikely,it'll be Mancini that will be the manager, unless Chelsea wait for Euro 2008 to end, which would then throw Scolari or Hiddink into the mix.

But it's slap head Kenyon that does the hiring and firing at the Bridge,so don't rule out Kenyon trying to get his buddy Sven to take the job.

That's unless Kenyon does'nt get sacked by Roman himself.Oh,how i would love that to happen !drink!

Sam Slater:Since when is 'Yid' anti-semetic?.Even the Spurs fans call themselves Yids, they have done for donkey's year's.Yid,infact is the slang for the Hebrew language of Yiddish.

So get your facts right before deformating someone's character.

Expect the red tops to be name dropping for the next few weeks Bob.I doubt Chelsea will wait till Euro 2008 ends. They'll want to act,and act fast.

I'd whittle the shortlist down to Sven and Mancini, with Rijkaard a very close outsider as we don't have the players to suit Rijkaard's expansive style of play, and we would have to make massive signings to accomadate that style of play.Bob Singleton wrote:

I wonder how you'd feel if racist slurs regarding your religion/heritage were screamed out and chanted in a happy go lucky way?

The Kick Racism Out Of Football campaign was launched in 1993. Except it?s missing a big problem here by allowing footballing scum (like you) to spout anti-Semitic beliefs to 30,000 plus people at every clash with Spurs. The problem is that by making Spurs synonymous with Yid as if entirely acceptable it has opened the floodgates to other football fans to sing chants against the Jews. Well why not? After all, Jews = Yid and Yid = Spurs right? It must be then OK for Arsenal fans to hiss at Spurs fans then?

You and they are just being racist and derogatory for the sake of football, which is just ridiculous.
