Keep polite and friendly please. The person you disagree with may have a different way of thinking instead of a wrong way of thinking.
Heres a question for you. Why did you say it? And I bet you cant answer it.
Ok Raj, you apologised to Terry but why not me?

If anyone tells me that they found my comment distasteful -and can give me a good reason why- then I'll apologise. Why did I say it? I thought I made that clear? When I think about it, I do find that as children we were told of the horrible way Blacks and other Ethic people were treated. Being told this from a very young age -like religion- it sinks in deep. because of the past, I think most of society is so worried about being labelled racist, that they will be extra nice, and extra accommodating for fear of this label.

To give a good comparison, lets talk about paedophilia. Isn't it well documented that innocent men feel uncomfortable around children these days? Societies obsession with paedophilia and racism labels have people hiding and running scared. 90% of those people being innocent, ordinary people. I seriously think this, and thus I posted this belief. Since I think this about racist problems, as well as paedophilia, then by your assumptions -and rules of thinking- I'm also a closet paedophile?

Now, if I'm a closet racist, why aren't I sat googling for BNP supporters forums or something? Why am I here arguing with you? If I was a closet racist, why did I make those comments in the first place? Wouldn't I be better to agree with everyone and act all offended by Jade's bullying? (not racist bullying).

The REAL closeted racists are sat quietly watching, and probably chuckling to themselves.

Now, I hope I've explained my statement that you took offence to. I'm sorry if it's not to your satisfaction. Now, would you do me the honour of apologising for your racist comments on whites, and even explain why you said what you said?

"I do think that white people are less likely to be taken seriously if they complained of racist abuse,"

They wouldn?t be taken seriously at all - at least not by white-collar public sector sorts. Because in their distorted worldview only hardworking white folks are racist, everyone else is a ?disadvantaged victim? and a prime candidate for all sorts of state benefits, grants and counselling.

?and I do think that this is because most white people feel 'guilt' about the past.?

Er, ?most white people? Sam? Not where I come from they wouldn?t. The people on my old manner (including my good self) feel so utterly guiltless you probably wouldn?t believe it. When you talk about ?white people? feeling guilty you?re talking about white middleclass people. Your peer group, perchance?

?If guilt is too strong a word, then how about feeling uncomfortable, to a point that they'd feel a little embarrassed to complain??

Not to embarrassed to complain, Sam. Now to frightened. If they complain they risk being taken away by the thought police at midnight (well, 6.00AM anyway). They?ll then probably end up in cell 101 where the full weight of the socialist state will be brought to bear on them.

Freedom of thought and expression are under threat in this country like never before. I would urge everyone (whatever your political persuasion) to wake up, while you still have a voice and a vote.
