Hi Jim,

I couldn't agree with you more.
I've voted against the online certs idea and I don't care if I'm in the minority either! The idea of giving performers a unique number as a means of securing privacy doesn't make sense to me, as at the end of the day, each number is assigned to a performer and someone (or many) will know who that performer is and will have all the performer's personal details.
As Andy pointed out, if the government loses classified data(as it has done repeatedly), with all the resources the government has at its disposal and even the Pentagon has been hacked into, I have absolutely no confidence in this proposal protecting the privacy and security of performers.
The current system, whilst not perfect as nothing ever is, works fine.

You guys might try reading this before making assumptions http://www.ukadultproducers.com/board/s ... php?t=1406

Sam, this was really open to producers and performers. I cant see why fans would care too much for it. I dont know which you are.

If you are a producer then vote against it on the link please.

I wont be responding to any further objections here. Just vote yes or no and leave your opinions on the correct forum.

Thanks.

Donkey work, why should it be available to everyone? It should be available to those whom it concerns in the industry only.

Donkey work it is being looked into if it can be done through certain clinics but I think this will be a tall order and certainly not accepted by all the clinics such as NHS and various others.

I dont mind people thinking it is a silly idea but a lot of people want other things in place because the system as it is right now isnt working with people turning up with paperwork out of date and expecting people to work with them a day or two over its expiry.

At least with this everyone can check before wasting time and ensuing headaches.

Then they don't work and you don't hire them again. Word gets round (don't deny it won't) and no-one hires hires them. In short no cert, no work. It a basic principle, one that even you could understand. Why re-invent the wheel for a non-existent LA?

With the World teetering on economic collapse, I cannot for the life of me understand this either.

It's quite simple if you don't turn up with the correct paper work- YOU DON'T WORK............How simple is that?
