Aye, I can see it can be a an expenisve business. I mean you have to pay your actors and actresses in the hundreds and you should have at least 5 girls in you rfilm, plus maybe 3, 4 or 5 guys. Thats a lot of money withou tthe camera equipent, post production, marketing and advertising, getting it ou ttthere, any licenses you may need, catering and setting up the business itself.

Its juts, and I don't want to insult anyone here, that the britsih porn idustry just doesn't seem to match up to the americans or even the europeans. The quality is just not as good and there are way more american product out there then british. I kind of wanted to redress the balance.

however I can see the cost wil be th eissue. I have money but no doubt it would be all gone on one shoot lol.

I will think more on the subject and maybe do some am projects for my own enjoyment lol.

yes you are right to compete with the americans would cost a small fortune and would never return the investment as one of our larger production houses is finding out and considering shutting up production. the am-cams carry on regardless as for many of them its a part time thing and they get their money from their day jobs so selling and making money aint a big thing

Can't add any thing new I'm afraid. I produce films and make a small profit but I certainly won't be ordering a 60' ocean going yacht!!

This is precisely the problem. everyone thinks when they make a film they are revolutionising this industry. Everyone wants to redress the balance, so they use the same girls in the same scenearios and lay the blame at the feet ofd the gonzo genre. Even most porn in Europe and ASmerica is shot with a balnce of gonzo/ pov style.

You'll never redress any balance unless you look at the full spectrum of product available out there from Viv Thomas, Harmony, Relish right down to the amateur end of the spectrum then ask yourself where do you really fit in and what is it thats new you have to bring to the table...Everyone is trying to redress the balance in their own egotistical way.

To me the only opinion that counts is the man who digs in his pocket to buy the product as he is the one that is really dicating who eats steak or potato chips.

all i can add is that from a models POV i have done shed loads of films in the last 2 years for new and upcoming companys with genuine desires to sucseed and with a reasonable set up. very few have made it to the shelves but at least most have done something with the footage webwise which indicates web is logistically easier.

yeah its a tough market. I mean the british stuff out there, I mean I am not obessed with looks or anything but they do tend have the less atrractive end of th emarket, in both girls an dguys.
