Lets not get lost in translation about this folks.

Whether the subscribers downloaded it legitimately gave them no right to give it away to the world for free.

Its a low down dirty shame for producers to resort to this but if people are cheeky enough to download by filesharing then Im all in favour of tackling this cheeky action with like for like action

Can you blame a man for trying to defend his commerical interests?

No doubt some posters will find smart arsed ways to justify stealing. Just because its available for free doesnt legitimise the person who put it there as an excuse to say its ok

Thats like saying if you left your key in the car and a passer by drove it away then it wasnt stolen because the key was still in it. Finders keepers!

Correct me if I misunderstand this but are we saying its wrong for Ben Dover Productions to take this line of action?

Ah ok. Thanks for that. Seems I misread it.

However I'm still confused. If they weren't Ben Dover site subscribers, how did they get onto the (presumably password-protected) site to download the films? Were they all master hackers or something?

And why are only O2 subscribers being targeted?

Thanks all for responding so quickly to this item I posted.....actually, my
own view mirrors Mr Slip exactly....quite a lot of people will think twice
in future before joining, viewing or watching Ben Dover clips - anywhere!

You are basically wrong. The case concerns torrents.

No they weren't master hackers. They downloaded the films using either eDonkey or BitTorrent.

This is quite interesting indeed - from all accounts it would be difficult to prove the case for illegal downloads....

Now where were those links to that Jimslip hack that I saw a while back...;-)
