This case should have never gone to court. The Gurkhas should have the right to reside permanently in the UK in the first place.

I'm glad they eventually won. !thumbsup!

The Gurkhas have fought for our country, and have been proud to fight for us... I was bloody appalled to discover they didn't have the right to reside here.

And as for all the idle riff-raff that come here and are allowed to stay willy-nilly and take advantage of our hospitality... don't even get me started on that one.

Is it any wonder that the monkey's confused?

The Gurkhas marched through Maidstone today where they are barracked for the unveiling of a statue in there honour, and they were cheered by crowds all the way even the bigwigs from the council were there backing them its only this shite goverment who dosnt value them the rest of the country does.

I recall their troop ship got to the Falklands after the shooting had stopped. They were most miffed as not to get a pop at the Argentinians. Lucky for the Argies, those Khukri knives are bloody lethal!
I now realise we have a local bus driver who is ex Gurkha, equally effective at controlling drunk or rowdy passengers and very polite to the punters.
Can we swap them for a few undesirables?

After all they've done for our "English Army" the right to stay here should've been automatic, just like kicking all those Scots out of OUR paliament should be automatic! heh heh
