Buy a camera Scotty & "fill yer boots", enjoy what you film & it will come across on the finished product. Don't copy others as it will be the same & non profitable so adapt your own style, gimmicks & catchy name.
There are 100's of models & price varies from one to another so look at what budget you have & plan accordingly, many start & stay with Adult Work which can provide a platform to start earning from but as time goes on you might want your own site.
Yes it is legal to shoot adult movies but check with the BBFC guidelines for what is legal & not legal to be shown in the UK e.g. water-sports over a third party or fisting etc.
If you need model release or 2257 releases contact me & i will e-mail you some, amateur/reality porn is still the most popular at the moment so whatever you shoot (with good lighting) should do well.
Next step once you have footage is send it to "Your Choice" in Holland as they pay by the minute & if you are lucky they do a ?1000 prize for film of the month.
Never spend money you ain't got & build up your equipment as you go, Halogen lights work just as good to begin with so don't be told you need mega expensive gear because some spend thousands & still produce poor films.
If you do start go onto the UKAP site where you will get plenty of advice & also sign up to Paul Jones site A.I.R. where again you find everything you need to know...

Interesting you mention 'Your Choice'

If you're going to send to Your Choice, then it needs to be hardcore. If you shoot hardcore, then that rules out the UK.

Its perfectly legal to make hardcore in the UK for private use, web-sites etc but you will need to BBFC any material for R18 DVD.

Bloody hard! I've only made non-porn films, but producing, scheduling and the actual filming is a tough, often frustrating process. Don't take it lightly.
