Hello to the forum,
I was busy for a while and it is nice to see the new forum design :)
Last months I was digging in my "archives" for some times and that brought
me to following questions:
1)
As for example I am a fan of Marion Quest/Nancy Pride, so I could list you up several new contributions, which I own on original VHS tapes.
But over time I got huge packages of budget DVDs with a wild mix of outtakes from several german movies and some for example are showing - always the same - scenes from Nancy.
Does this qualify for a contribution in general? Where to draw a line?
Does the number of scenes make the difference for a valid new database entry?
Ten scenes are ok - and a clip compilation with 50 scenes in 90 minutes
of course not?
For example take "Versaute Riesentitten", with Ilona Tihase and others,
has an own entry and some information, from which movie the scene is.
And, to make it more difficult:
sometimes the scenes in the collections are edited, which mostly means: cut.
2)
You can find information on some actresses' entries about their magazine appearances.
Is this an exeption for any reason or are these infornation generally wanted?
Cheers,
Doc Schnitzel

Re: About contributing compilations and magazine infos
Hi Doc,
thanks for wanting to contribute to the database, it's appreciated.
Original films vs. compilations:
Usually I prefer to spend my time on original titles. There are thousands unlisted or incomplete listed original titles here.
Compilations usually go to the back burner.
Before I write a lot about that, I cite jj:
But yes, a clip compilation with every scene one or two minutes, isn't worth the hassle.
So, preferable you provide info to unlisted originals, as complete as possible, or missing info to already listed films.
Magazine appearances:
No it's not an exception. It's something that Ted started one or two years ago. He is adding the titles, when he revisits the performer pages.
I would add them too, if I get the info provided, but I don't search for them on my own.
So, yes the the info is wanted.

The info is always appreciated, whether it's added to the db or not (and of
course it will always be accessible here to those interested, via the Search-
function).
I'm not against comps. per se, especially as the older ones often contain
stuff that is otherwise no longer obtainable. In essence, it comes down to
priorities - as long as I have a pile of over 1000 originals waiting to be
added, comps. will always take a back-seat : -0)
