Crowdfunding for adult projects?

So, if I would fail to deliver, a huge mob of crowdfunders would come after me with their torches and pitchforks?
I think that if my project would fail I could offer crowdfunders something else in return.
Will have to find out if that would be possible, would be accepted.
Don't think that would work with a loan.
And who would be willing to give me a loan?
A bank?
Are there banks who would be willing to help me finance an adult/erotic/porn project?
And how much interest on that loan would I have to pay them?
Money I don't have.

With most crowdfunding schemes you're compelled to detail something very specific in order to be allowed to make the initial offer. If that doesn't pan out, you probably wouldn't get away with "ooo errr I have something else to offer you all instead".

But why not simply plan a cruise, make it extremely attractive, and take bookings (not payments) until you have enough to make it viable?

If you don't succeed, then no-one was interested in the first place.

Again I will have to find if that would be possible or not.

Fans want to know when exactly the cruise will happen, how much it will cost to get a place onboard or watch it on the internet.
Which models will participate?
Models will want to know exact dates too and their fees.
Crew members, camera and technical crew too.
The company that will hire out or sell a large enough sailboat to me would want to see money, some upfront payment first.
To get interest from fans, models and crew members, I need a boat first which will have to be payed (in part) upfront.
Bookings will not give me the money I need to organize a cruise.
If I do not have the money to actually organize a cruise, then nobody will be interested in it.

Instead of a cruise, why not start by organising something simpler like a studio day, which will give you a base of models and photographers, do that two or three times, and work up to doing a cruise later with some of the same people?

A studio day, a fanshoot at a studio, is a nice idea which has crossed my mind too.
I would like to organize such an event too but it has to be feasible and make enough money, some reasonable profit.
Depends on which big boob model or models would be available for a reaosnable fee and who would really bring in the fans/photographers.
Any suggestions?
I can think of Rachel Aldana and Hitomi Tanaka but have no clue how to get into direct contact with them or how much their fees would be.
Which studio would be available to host let say 50 of more fans and how much would such a studio cost to hire for a day?
How much would the photographers be willing to pay for such an event?
How much would you be willing to pay for such a day?
I would need the photographers to pay upfront for the event.
Such an event would be a very local event, taking place at a UK studio with only/mainly UK photographers.
Would only make a small part of the money which is needed to finance a cruise.
All in all, I think it will be a giant leap to get from a (local) (rather static) studio day to a(n international) (more dynamic) cruise.

Well, I would not be surprised if the initial costs to be paid upfront for a shoot of a week at a Portugese villa with say 4 models would be more than 5000 Pounds.
And no, I don't have such funds available.
