Finally the reality that this scheme would not achieve the objective due to many workarounds struck home. Mrs May(hem) can claim it was not scrapped while she was PM.

I just wish much more of her ' Snoopers Charter ' was not only scrapped but mandatory for all data collected to be totally deleted too.
