I know it's not an option for you but based on impending developments here in the uk i'm surprised none of the uk companies who experience similar situations don't complain to the Department for trade and industry since the government is collaborating with people who are taking money out of the uk economy and reducing the ability of those affected to make a living from their chosen, legal, profession.
