I cant speak about the other awards but UKAP is the only independent award to recognise new talent if theyre stuff is good

Dont go screaming fix if your POV gonzo scene doesnt win up against the likes of Harmony, Kendo or some high end produced movie....Jeez...Best movie is the heavyweights category so if you do its gotta be super slamming hot.

After all the awards have been given out, everyone has patted each other on the back and got pissed.
Do proud parents tell everyone that their son/daughter has won the best anal pounding award?
After winning can talent greatly increase their going rate for shooting scenes?
Do producers end up selling (or have stolen) more content?
And will the BBC announced the winners like they do with the Oscars?

Winning an award does mean something to those that win it. it means recognition from ones peers and associates and like it or not, winning something at an event means something to everyone there

If it didnt why would anyone bother make snide remarks at it? It just depends on what value people place on winning

Winning an AVN is nice but winning an award from any of the UK/ europe events means recognition of abilities and your time to shine in front of people and hold that award up high

Again let me clarify here, I am not being negative... good luck to those that win the awards, they definitely deserve them and should indeed be proud...

However I never expected to be a performer, some would probably argue I am not a performer lol, and I certainly never think of myself as a porn star or stud.

It will have full and comprehensive details about all aspects of our awards show concerning tickets, entertainment, sponsorship packages, live streaming and nominations including all the award categories and the prizes and entry fee pool. Short listed runners up and the winners get not only a ?glass trophy? but an nice cash reward as well.

The whole purpose is to showcase the best of British, to show the world we have the talent and the adult products, it is a celebration of just that, a night of back slapping, fun and entertainment with a capital E!!!! And why not?
