downloading query

hi guys,my problem is my isp disconnects after 2 hours,then i have to reconnect,thus if im downloading a large file i lose all the info.does anyone know of a program that will enable me to download,but will keep the data,then when i reconnect it will resume the download from where it last stopped,cheers mack

Try Gozilla.com .Its a useful tool for long downloads and will do everything you need

I find get right (http://www.getright.com) to be better than gozilla, try em both & see which you prefer.

"Download Accelerator" is, I think, a better option easier to use, Gozilla, is "spyware" . Goto http://speedbit.com

Personally I always use Download Accelerator - never had a problem with it

If you have Gozilla watch out. Check out the file list and location in the Gozilla directory and make a record of the files and their location. Then try deleting Gozilla using add/remove programmes. It claims to have worked but it hasn't as most of the files are still there. You then need to manually delete the remaining files using the list you got earlier.

Got rid of mine and discovered that the occasional crashes that I used to get disappeared and the 'hanging' programmes - especially the graphic related ones - were suddenly cured.

I now use DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) as otherwise mentioned in this thread and have had no problems with it.
