I?m doing the obstacle race ?Pretty Muddy Bristol? to raise money for Cancer Research.
Any donation whether large or small makes a difference. I figured that this would be a good place to post and kindly ask for donations....giving that a lot of you have got a few extra quid in your pockets these days by watching porn on tube sites instead of paying for it
Please help scientific research and funding by donating to this cause and help to find treatments and a cure for Cancer.
For your 'Get into Heaven free even though you are a naughty Wanker' card lol just visit here picture me crawling through the mud with straw in my hair, and make a donation.
THANK YOU

Re: Would you help me raise money for Cancer Research?
I highly doubt that all cancer forms are preventable, and if I have to choose between having kids with cancer being cared for in hospices or cancer research being done on animals and the kids getting cured, then I won't have to think about it for even a second. And the same is true if I have to choose between adults being cured from cancer and no animal testing.

Kaz, stop wasting your time and money on these CRUK(s)!
Has anybody checked out, 'cancer research UK", MILLIONS on wages, 165 execs on 60k to ?230'000 per annum, spent 150 million on land and buildings, shares in non research orgs too etc, etc.
Curing cancer has become big business, so big in fact that last year CRUK raked in ?433,000,000 to play about with! Read that again ?433 Million!!!!
All the proof you need that CRUK is simply a business!
Top earners pay-scales:
?60,001 ? ?70,000 = 48
?70,001 ? ?80,000 = 35
?80,001 ? ?90,000 = 36
?90,001 ? ?100,000 = 12
?100,001 ? ?110,000 = 8
?110,001 ? ?120,000 = 5
?120,001 ? ?130,000 = 2
?130,001 ? ?140,000 = 6
?140,001 ? ?150,000 = 4
?150,001 ? ?160,000 = 3
?160,001 ? ?170,000 = 3
?170,001 ? ?180,000 = 1
?210,001 ? ?220,000 = 1
?220,001 ? ?230,000 = 1
Yep, that equals 165 people employed by CRUK being paid in excess of ?60K per annum from your donations - serious monies indeed!
Mr Kumar, CRUK CEO, trousers ?230,000 per year for doing what exactly? Sitting in meetings? Deciding where to open a shop next? Listening to area reports of who raised the most money-it truly must be a stressful position urging all those volunteers to get more donations in so as to furnish one's own pockets by approximately ?4,230.00 per week, especially when knowing that 430 people per day are dying from cancer during this trousering!
CRUK preys on well-meaning people like Kaz, to take advantage of their kindness & generosity.
It's a con! Do a bit of Googling about these so-called charities, you'll be shocked. Spend your hard earned cash on your family and loved ones. Don't waste it on a job creation scheme for a bunch of tossers!

Re: Would you help me raise money for Cancer Research?
How much bonus would you expect Cancer Research UK to pay its directors?
Accounts show that in 2010-11 it was ?20 million, and in 2012-13 it was ?21 million.
Now you won't find these figures published on the Cancer Research website, I've looked - might put the general public off giving. But CRUK financial accounts are published by Companies House and these accounts show the amount paid yearly in Directors Emoluments.
Cancer has become big business, it generates millions of pounds in revenue every year, and with it a bonus culture has evolved... or should that be devolved - shame on Cancer Research UK.

Re: Would you help me raise money for Cancer Research?
Thank you for all your responses.
And I am sorry but this has not convinced me otherwise. I love animals and it tears my heart apart to think of them suffering, but I also understand that some controlled medical testing (to save lives NOT for cosmetic purposes) as long as it is not barbaric and doesn't not cause any prolonged pain is neccessary for scientific advance. Perhaps in future we will be able to find other methods.
I also believe that those at the top of the medical profession SHOULD be paid a good wage. They have spent years dedicating their lives to medical science. I have met a few doctors and - medicine IS their lives, they don't have time for anything else. Why should they not be rewarded for their dedication and pretty much sacrificing all their own time for science?
I appreciate that you all have your own opinions and would never suggest that you should agree with me.
Sadly capitalism is built on corruption and consumers will never feel that the share of the wealth is fair. That is the way of our world today. Yet still - without all the money that has been raised for cancer suffers in the past, we would not have the medicines that we have available today. Without medicine and good doctors and hope, perhaps my mother wouldn't be here. The fact she is makes me so grateful. I would rather run a thousand miles, through mud, and rain and storm, and line the pockets of a thousand Capitalists if it can help save peoples lives. If it means we lose less friends, and family to Cancer, people we care for, and just brave, kind people, like Stephen Sutton who died so young.....it will be worth it.
Not forgetting that animals - pets will benefit too. If we can help prevent or cure cancer in humans, it is likely we can utilise medicine to save our beloved pets, and other animals too.
Thank you for sharing and reading. Kaz xxx
