The awards show is to be held at Sprearmint Rhino in London on 25th November.

Adult Performers and Producers can get free entry to this event.
Fans are also able to purchase tickets to the event.

In all fairness Gerry....UKAP put a call out for everyone to submit material for consideration.

We can only work with what we got before us...as the saying goes...You got to be in it to win it.

I guess awards can be bought by sponsors but our awards are actually judged by a panel of people

Hmmmm. i agree with Gerry on this. it seems like the same old people. where is Viv Thomas movies in this?? I know if they had been contacted they would have submitted titles or performers up for an award. Lexi Lowe, Paige Turnah and a few other Brit Girls have done well and have been praised for the perormances at VT.

I can see one eyed jacks point to. gotta be in it to win it. But just how many Adult film companys were contacted?? or even know about it.

How does it work? does an email get sent out to every major UK or European vompany in the Business or is it just a special club.

We always try to get as many people to enter as possible.We have tried contacting producers and distributors for entries we can only put films up that are submitted,and the company you mention have been contacted via their distributor without success.

We think there are UK companies in the UK and abroad that would do really well but what can we do if they choose not to participate?

We know who they are and have been in touch with all of them. Some companies prefer to keep themselves to themselves and we respect that.

Speaking of Paige Turnah, she won two years running.

Surely, part of the problem you have is asking companies to submit. Why
not invite anyone to submit names of titles they viewed in past 12 months ?
As it is the Films Award - and I am just a non-partisan lover of porn and an
old time (British) director - looks silly when Harmony are nominated for over
one-third of the nominations. They make good movies but are not the only
kids on the block.....I appreciate the organisers` problems, but they really
need to think this thing through before 2014.

The Brit industry was better when it didn't try to make out that it was something that it isn't. If they had a category for the least tattoos or the non plastic titties category then perhaps people would take a serious interest.

The Brit industry now is largely made up of pretty basic girl next door types who are horribly out of shape with fake tits, hideous make up and terrible tattoos and just about any guy with a camcorder who wants to have his cock sucked.

But then again I might be wrong and the industry over here might be secretly thriving. How would I know.
