Here's a bit of advice from a seasoned old pro. When some gorgeous porno babes have actually bothered to reply to you and offer you sound help to get started as a porn stud, you do NOT reply,

You reply, "THANKS GIRLS FOR ALL YOUR HELP, IT IS REALLY APPRECIATED, I WILL REPLY IMMEDIATELY!"

Here is an example, a few weeks ago a guy contacted me saying he was "Desperate" to become a porn stud. So I asked when can he come to audition. His answer was "Well I'm not sure, you see I have alot on at work at the moment but maybe I can get a day off if I do a day in lieu.......blah blah blah!".........."Goodbyeeeeee!" I said to myself.

His answer should have been, 'ANY TIME, ANY PLACE YOU WANT, JIM" His job should have been secondary. This is the only game in town, for me or any other producer or for any other model all they want to hear from a new guy is, "Yes I can, just tell me when and where and I will be there!"

If you follow this simple advice you might just have a chance of getting somewhere.

Heres a tip,

If say for example a tog/producer like me offers you the chance to take part in a shoot with a well known adult model take it.
Also when you get the location,time and shoot requirments turn up.

Dont be like the bloke on saturday who blew out and turnned his phone off.

That's fine, Mr Slip... but unless porn has started paying studs - and new and untried studs - a reasonable fee for their part of the bargain, you cannot expect a YES, YES and YES! - totally unrealistc expectation.

We do pay our studs.

The studs paid for the UKAP auditions which went to paying the two models an over the usual odds for the work involved for the 3 hours they worked.

Another audition I worked on with a member the applicants got paid for just turning up!!! Well, only because we needed consent paper work and id for my documentary project

I've never exploited people for free content unless it was of mutual benefit which is why I couldnt understand the attacks I got from posters on here when I asked if anyone wanted to do auditions and everyone wanted a free shag but didnt want to pay for it....Sounds like those are the same people that like theyre porn for free too

Maybe all these dodgy companies set up charging ?250 for admin fees is the way to go. Seems more people are happy to buy into the illusion of getting into the business them than actually going out there doing it.

That's good to hear, Lara - it really, really is... because there are many that dont.

Even so, I think total dedication to a career as a porn stud - for one just starting out is still an unrealistic demand. The work is infrequent, very often unpaid or very, very low paid. I think it is a bit much to write a lad off who can't drop it all and be there on demand. Agreed, those that can and do, they show real potential, but that doesn't mean that one who cannot afford to do that is a waste of space.

So what happens to the material that you shoot and which the studs pay for the pleasure? Does that material go to them for their exclusive use? Or does it go nowhere? Or do you sell the rights on?

Looks to me like its a "have your cake and eat it scenario"?

If you expect a guy to turn up on demand, then real word economics tells you that you've got to pay him a fair wage - free shag or no free shag. Anyone that has shot on the porn platform knows that, yes... a shag is a shag - but it's not all pleasures.

I think maybe both sides have got unrealistic expectations.

The only way to make money out of porn is to either be (a) female or (b) be the person selling it.
