hi all
im very new to all this,but am trying to get into the adult movie industry,i saw an advertisement for models/actors and replied to blue fox castings,,set up a profile and got a call a few days later.they asked for ?250 fee to cover admin and advertising?,and the girl put me forward for the xmas special shoot (that they are still advertising for in craigs list).paid the money and got a call re;private shoot,which i was happy to do.yesterday morning i got a call , asking me to pay a deposit of ?2500,to make sure i turn up on the day?as the client was paying ?24000 for lighting ,camera etc,is this usual?i said i couldnt afford that,and would she leave me in the xmas special instead,only to be told,id been taken out of the special to do the private shoot.
sorry to go on a bit,but trying to outline my experience,
i guess what i need to know is ,has anyone had dealings with Blue Fox Castings?,is this normal practice?,or have i been so naive to have been scammed?

Anyone one who asks you for money to shoot is a scammer.

Take Pauls advice from AIR, I did and look where its getting me, lol !!!

Also use the modelling websites for work such as Pure Storm, Purple Port and Model Mayhem.

Im quite new to the industry but happy to pass on my experiences.

Its a shame you didnt find the BGAFD to verify that before you did.

Thing is rip off companies like that are a dime a dozen and if this business was more pro active in recruiting it could limit scams like that from working.

Lol all I paid was 250 totally sucked in thanks 4 the info on the other site I will not part with any more money how these companies can scam ppl is so out of order n I would give m more than a slap bluefox r waiting 4 me 2 pay the money they will soon call when they haven't received anything from me
