Have just got back home after a totally wasted day in which I have been stood up by not one but TWO models who both had over a month to be ready and had verbally confirmed on Thursday!?!

What the fuck is up with these people?!? !swear!

Name and shame Max, name and shame. If nothing else it'll prevent others on here losing out, as you did. Also, it may get those two no shows to either buck their ideas up, or to stop wasting people's time.

well said bamboo because when some of these model have something go wrong they are quick to blame the tog. And also name and shame them so give them a taste of own medicine

its happened to me too this week i arrange for 4 models to shoot this week and not one of them has now confirmed a defo time/date

Neither excusing nor criticising but so many of these 'models' find it easier and more lucrative to sign on with a webcam chain and earn a lot more money before breakfast doing what you'd ask them to do. And they feel safer, maybe the way the industry is changing.

As I've posted before I simply can't understand why models accept a booking then cancel last minute without a genuine totally unforeseeable reason or just no show.

If as Buckley says there are easier / more lucrative ways of earning money so the fee for shoot on offer is not worthwhile fine but why accept the booking !confused!

I haven't had many recent no-shows, but i am staggered that in this recession period of high levels of unemploymnt that the business is struggling to get pretty new young models. There were many more just 5 years ago. I'd really have thought that several hundred a day for a few hours ought to be far far more attractive a prospect than just sitting at home for nothing for a pretty young lady. I mean , if you are unemployed, single mother, with little chance of an holiday and you just do 3 or 4 shoots you've made enough for a holiday in the Med!

I can never understand the point in models not turning up for shoots- do they not want the money or the work? And do they not realise that it will get them a bad reputation? Very odd... !confused!
