If you want an opinion in anything (not just AITA) you got to be in it if you don't want people to influence changes that may affect you

Its all very well people out here poking rebuke but AITA took a stand and dealt with it their way. You can be part of that decision process and be in the know but if youre not how will you know if its democratic or not?

As far as I know, decisions are reached by agreement of those in the association and not just taken on by an individual.

It seems to me that people here are in favour of the one individual that dealt with it his way and is faultless for it but someone else steps in to take it further they get negative criticism.

I don't see anyone here among the critics doing what they are doing about this. Give em a break and let them do what they are doing.

Its a thankless job dealing with industry affairs for all the aggro involved and the individuals concerned do it unpaid too.

I agree that AITA have handled the affair correctly, and have given a sober and factual summary.

I have no problem with the way AITA have conducted themselves, and don't really understand why they are getting stick for it.

The rest of my previous post is a separate issue, and I perhaps should not have mentioned it in this thread.

I have been having a nosy on here throughout the weekend and have had to stop myself from replying to some posts.
However, now I have had enough.
I would like to point out, NO ONE would be given a cert saying they are HIV positive, the clinic wouldn't give them any cert full stop. Can't people really not use their common sense and see that.
As for where this rumour came from, well, if it says so on facebook, then it must be true.(sarcastic smiley)
I personally choose to believe the information given by AITA who have spoken to the person themselves and the clinic involved, other than some random person who when asked where they got got this information from said 'oh I don't have to tell you nuffink mate'. I mean really???
As for condoms in porn ofcourse the performer can choose to do b/g with certs or condoms, some are happy with certs, some are not. The way people are banging on about condoms on this forum you would think all us poor performers are forced to do it without a condom
It is your choice what you do and I think it should remain personal choice. Simple really.
I think AITA handled the incident best they could but I do think a database for all results would be a good idea like AIM used to do.

1. Don't understand why Kim's questions repeatedly go unanswered.

2. Who are AITA and why are they experts on HIV scares? Had anyone heard of them till all this came out?

No I cant work out why nobody wants to come out and answer Kims concerns and questions either.
Its as if some have closed ranks but I await to be corrected.

I also had never heard of AITA until all this blew up.

Yeah, I wondered exactly the same

I eventually found their site- apparently they have been representing us all since 2003

I thought they would at least have medical professionals or lawyers to be able to examine someone's medical records, and lets not forget the professional counselling they have done
