Sounds to me like theres a few cross wires here! Shot Shay a few times and she's always been excellent and professional. Never heard a bad word against her.

I always try to confirm the night before or morning of a shoot, especially when i am working with someone for the first time.

But to be honest - if an aggressive burly guy tried jumping my fence and banging my windows - lets just be polite and say i wouldnt be keen on working with someone like that anyway.

Just been talking to Tammie Lee about this. She has worked with davyboy and thought he was a decent guy. I agree with OEJ. I hope ADMIN keep this up as an example of how shit happens

I've not met or worked with either party but I have been let down a couple of times by models.
BUT - No matter how annoying it was at the time I didnt subject them to a tirade of abuse, go wandering around in their back gardens or make them feel threatened.

I think you should perhaps take a breath calm down and apologise to the girl.

I've worked with Shay 3 times. She even txt'd me once to say she was going to be late and turned up early! And she always txt'd me when she was in transit, not that I asked her to.
She did cancel a shoot once with me and she txt'd me at 7.30 in the morning on the day of the shoot, she still offered to do the shoot, but was realy not well, and we re arranged the shoot, and that turned out to be the best photoshoots I think I've ever done.
My experience with Shay is this: if every model was as good as her I'd still be shooting. (equal to Michelle B!)

My business partner have gone through what Davy went through (the long travel only for it to go tits up). The people who say get over it seem to be the ones with deep pockets. How lucky!

However, I'd say to davy to consider himself lucky to get an apology because there are PLENTY of models who would NOT give you one....and I mean PLENTY!

If a model is willing to apologise then accept it and chalk it up to experience. Life isn't perfect.

Just a misunderstanding really like Shay said if she sent a text the night before and she got no reply what was she to think. Whilst i can understand Daveyboy being upset after a long journey i dont think banging on someones door in that manner is very nice or leaving a note like that. I must admit id be a bit scared if someone was banging on my door at 10am in the morning. And shay i do love ur work so keep doing what you do. Daveyboy good luck with your site.
