Porn isn't illegal what jurisdriction have they got to sack you? I personally think its shocking they took that course of action, some people are so minded in this world, you should take legal action and sue them for unfair dismissal!

A model I know has had a similar experience recently. A so called friend got some sort of pleasure in informing the Principal at her Uni about various things. She's not been kicked out, but it caused a load of issues. She's had to scale things back causing a huge loss of income.

Generally what concern of any employer is it what anyone does outside of their contracted hours for that employer so long as no effect to the employers business and the job the person is doing for them?

The only issue I can potentially see would be a public facing role and being recognised, e.g checkout operator, waitress, receptionist at a hotel etc. or being silly enough to use a work computer to check / answer email, sending text messages about shoot enquiries during paid work time etc.

I think the legallity of it comes down to the chosen profession. I believe all teaching positions are vetoed especially if it involves working with children of any age. I also think jobs in the services like the police, paramedic wouldn't tolerate it either.

It all comes down to what the profession was but technically because you have done porn doesn't affect the way you can or can't do a job, were they would most likely get you is 'it is not the image we'd like to project for the company' but they are only assuming anyone would recognise you or care!

Well like it or lump it its a fact of life, and will continue to happen im sure to future models.I myself have had several requests from girls asking me to take down their films and pictures for want of people seeing them when they have gone back to so called "ordinary jobs".
