AW rental upload issues

Hi,

Anyone else having trouble uploading for rental?

Have used their upload option and command line FTP (always worked before) but while they upload, they never show up when you do the "check exists".

All was fine before their server move.

I think they changed the ftp IP recently, are you using: 92.48.193.42 ?

I don't use the FTP upload for Adultwork but not sure if you have seen this on their site:

"Our FTP Server can be found at 92.48.193.42. It supports anonymous logins and has a two minute inactivity timeout. You will not be able to "see" the files you have uploaded as read permission is not enabled. You will receive errors about not being able to retrieve the file or folder listing. This is normal and will prevent others from accessing your files whilst you're uploading them.

Be sure to make a note of the exact filename of the movie file you are uploading. Only WMV format is supported.

Once your file has finished uploading to our FTP folder, complete the details below to add it to your Movie Library."

That's strange, I've been having less problems than before with the normal upload method, don't use the FTP thing. Uploaded 3 Movie Rentals since start of year. They all took 15 or 20 minutes, but were accepted first time, sometimes previously had to try 5 or 6 times.

Iam unable to get any FTP program to connect, tried 3 different ones over last few weeks.

Unsure if problem arises from trying to connect from a MAC, though i use FTP for other purposes other than video and they work ok.

we use a program on the mac called "smartftp" (I think) we set it onto forced and that seems to work on adultwork. previously had loads of issues getting rentals up, but this program seems to work for us.

Are you sure it is smart ftp Melody as i cannot see they produce it for the MAC?

doh im so sorry, I thought we'd used it on the Mac but it was on the PC.

we have always used the Mac though for the rental uploads but for some reason started having loads of problems and then switched to Smart FTP but on the PC.
