Jeremy Kyle Confronts The Sex Industry

With there being so many replies to this link, I thought I had better look at OEJ's link to the programme on the I player, and also the other posted links of Leanne. I thank OEJ and others for posting the links.

I notice that Mr Kyle and Leanne seem to be getting a lot of stick from the readers.
Well, I am going to give praise to Leanne for being such a fine actress in making out she was enjoying herself acting in the films, when allegedly she was not, and was also being exploited by all those wicked producers at the time.
Looking at her profile in the actresses pages she had to do this 66 times, so you have to feel sorry for her.
I also give praise to all the film makers who seen to have got that look of enjoyment out of her. She certainty looks like she was "up for it" in the film clips.

With regards to Mr Kyle's programme you would not expect him to give any praise to the industry. Look at it this way his core viewers are mainly the unemployed, with giving praise it could persude some of them to get off their couch and try and get work in industry, and I don't think ITV would want to lose any more of their viewers.

On a more serious note.
On the programme Leanne said she did not enjoy working in the industry.

It made me wonder how many of todays girls and guys in the industry actually enjoy it, and if they were offered the equivalent financial rewards for a so called "proper" job would choose that over what they do now.

It will be interesting if I get any replies to this question.

I thought it was a well made program and showed both sides of the porn industry.
Lianne has been ruined by porn and EML hasn't.
There are some exploiters in the sex industry.

I liked the conclusion, '... you will never stop the sex industy ... by burying our heads in the sand we are merely aggravating the situation...'

Those ads are really annoying.

I think Jeremy Kylie made himself look a right prat by using Lianne as his sidekick in this programme, if you wanted to show the industry in a bad light then use a girl who had only appeared in a handfull of films who could claim that she found it degrading and soon found herself another occupation, not one who has appeared in loads of films and has worn the T Shirt !wink!

@Nikonman: The other girl was Maria. Although she was a model for 11 years, you won't find her anywhere under that name. Why? Because (in contrast with the picture presented by Lianne), Maria is very comfortable with her modelling achievements, which she regards as a positive part of her life. She is equally successful in the other things she's now doing ... but doesn't need to advertise her modelling work by appearing on mainstream TV under her modelling names!
