True, and indeed, it's a worthwhile topic.

My take would be that for shoots where the model is being paid "with content" or images, then (unfortunalty) in some cases the photographer will attempt to squeeze as much out of her as he can.

The good thing about paid jobs is that it's unambigious. Model agrees a rate, does her hours, gets paid. Job done.

Exactly bgafdfan, i posted it because i fully understand content share is free to whoever is involved and was shocked when a so called professional failed to mention in original contact that this fee of ?25 and a bottle of wine was expected. He only told me a few days back that this was required, and with being new back to industry and i value the feedback on forum that i wanted peoples opinion on how this guy had conducted himself and a very unprofessional manner.

But for some reason people took it totally the wrong way what i was saying lol.

Glad you had a great shoot with Honey she is totally amazing & can't wait to work with her again, either paid or content share lol.

Love
Jo

When i talk about shared content i mean between the models themselves not for other photographers/videographers as these are two a penny & have nothing to offer me, Jo was right doing her shoot for that photographer at the time because she needed pictures there & then & its worked as she as had paid work from it.
The industry is a closed shop for newcomers and then as the cheek to moan & gripe when a girl uses other methods to be seen, the latest craze by the pro industry & agencies is to categorize models as conventional & unconventional again causing unwanted grief but they know best lol!
If you are an older model, model of colour or outsized your 'unconventional'...who the fuck are these people to say so?, because of this a lot of amateur models are on the shelf waiting for the chance that someone might want to hire them...rubbish they are as much in demand as the size 8 models but are feed shit from unprofessionals thinking they know best.
These girls realise that making their own footage or doing content share gets them out in the publics eye in a market which they are being squeezed out of to provide work for a select few.
I think everyone is equal & should have a fair crack of the whip...i only have to mention amateurs, escorts, condoms, content share & i get the usual agitators who winge & rant but 'NEVER' once offer an alternative. 'Please do so or shut up' as negative attitudes are whats causing the industry to destory itself.

If a girl is attractive enough, and "fits the bill" then she is certainly going to be made offers of paid work from day 1.

Not really, people usually work for free because they have nothing worth paying for.

Never ever done a shoot on a share basis. Just not professional IMO and I can afford to pay the model. If she will only work for a share of the content it's best she works with someone else.

Then pay the model off and earn it all yourself is my motto.

Will have to check out Adultwork and see if I can sell there as well. LOL

I don't have the kind of money that a lot of photographers want for a porfolio. In my opinion they take advantage of someone starting out by charging too much.

So was i supposed to not do something i really wanted to because of lack of money.

Well i must be worth paying for because I AM EARNING money from what i am doing lol. So is BBW Honey, so is Kim, so is Kentish pete and many other who either still content share or have done in the past.

So go figure that one out.
