Ah, the Salvador Dali of the bgafd graces us with one of his enigmatic quotes.
Pure bliss.

Re: o/t glamour magazines/style
All the current mags need is a decent dose of British talent
be it either the voluptuous look from the Eighties of the Girl next door from the nineties injected and the internet turned off for a couple of years
When I look at all the british sites dedicated to british models I do wonder why the British mags continue to fill their pages with mostly Yanks & Euros.
Personally I think its more a case of economics than wether one girl is better looking than another
Seem to remember someone saying that a lot of the leading models weren't that keen on doing open legged shots so therefore weren't really appropriate for Mens Mags...correct if I'm wrong by all means
cheers

Ah, yet another post by someone who is not living in the present or the real world for that matter!
To Dibble and his fellows who live in some other plane of reality, I suggest you go off and publish your own magazines in what ever style you like, then after you've gone bankrupt because nobody else agreeded with what you liked enough to buy it, you join the real world with the rest of us.
POINT ONE: Don't knock what the editors of today are doing. They have a hard enough job as it is without idiots telling them how to do their job every five minutes!
POINT TWO: If you feel that strongly about it, then put your money where your mouth is and get shooting! Don't cry about the problem of "I can't find the girls of quality". The girls are out there. If you want them that bad then pay them ?2000 a shoot. You won't have a shortage of quality girls then!
POINT THREE: Don't slag off the girls that are around today, 99% of them are hard working and deserve your praise, not your petty bitching (Dibble take note!) Without them there would be no British porn industry.
POINT FOUR: Don't piss off photographers...THEY BITE!!!

Not an outburst Dibbs, we just look at things differently, I prefer to see the cup as half full, but I do despair sometimes at your downbeat assesment of all things porn. I,m sure youv,e had some good times working within the industry, but time moves on and maybe you should think of a career move,if your not happy with today,s scene.(Mc Donalds are hiring)
As far as todays girls go, each to thier own, but as John say,s,there,s some fantastic looking girls out there, and far more natural looking than some jaded 60,s porn chick with a beehive haircut and a make-up overdose.
Now can I make you some complan?

I think the good Ossifer should aim for the Lords, to be with all the other gentleman farmers, where his wit and wisdom will get the hearing they so richly deserve........
...and what's wrong with a nice beehive?
Buzz off......

To address John's points.
I do publish.
I do shoot.
I do invest my own dough. (What gave you the impression that I didn't?)
I do reserve the right to have a dig at magazine editors if I feel they are doing something wrong or their mags are crap.
"Don't cry about the problem of "I can't find the girls of quality". The girls are out there. If you want them that bad then pay them ?2000 a shoot. You won't have a shortage of quality girls then!"
Ah, so you do agree that there are 'better quality' girls out there? There are indeed a couple of girls in UK glamour that I would be prepared to pay that much as I know our punters would be keen to see them.
"Don't slag off the girls that are around today, 99% of them are hard working and deserve your praise, not your petty bitching"
Why not? Models sell themselves on the basis of their appearance and it's the buyer's prerogative to pick spots off any merchandise or services offered for sale. Hey, if anyone criticises my work I can take it on the chin and either defend it or strive to do better.
"POINT FOUR: Don't piss off photographers...THEY BITE!!!"
Yes, quite so. I can dig that because I'm also photographer (of sorts) and never had the least qualms about biting either.
