Your Choice have recently added a few controversial DVD's to their collection. To my knowledge, they haven't previously stocked titles that have caused such widespread criticism in the adult cindustry.
So.. we have Max Hardcore. Not just any Max Hardcore, but 'Junior Schoolgirls', a series that caused a lot of fuss due to it's paedophilia dialogue (in one, there is a roleplay scene in which the performer pretends she is 12 years old).
Then we have 'gag factor' in which blow jobs do not exist, but heads are instead shagged like any other orifices (I believe 'skull fuck' is the less then pleasent term for it) and the girls are made to vomit over the guy's dick. Pleasent.
So what do peeps think? Is it cool to have a wider diversity of products from the best UK company (in terms of delivery) or.. are they pandering to the extremists? Personally, I'd prefer to see them stock more porn, not this absolute garbage pretending to be sexual and hijacking the term 'pornography' so it can find a market place. But then, maybe that's just me.
Your Choice: The New DVD 's
Re: Your Choice: The New DVD 's
The titles you describe certainly don?t appeal to me and, yes, it seems a shame that the most reliable supplier we know of should stoop so low.
I?d have thought they?d be better off building their business by offering a greater selection of the kind of DVDs they already supply ? but maybe they can?t get the rights.
No doubt they will say that they are ?just testing the market?.
Anyone from Your Choice care to comment?

Re: Your Choice: The New DVD 's
'and the girls are made to vomit over ...' is that made as in forced or made as in payed?
'The Erotic arts' by Peter Webb ??1975 has a survey of porn. 'in its most extreme form, fetishism involves subjects which must be repugnant to even the most liberal-minded.' He talks about a Danish magazine called 'Grotesque' which consists of photographs of leather-clad men in chains, some covered with excrement, others made to eat it. 'Although possibly faked (the photo graphs that is) this must turn some people on' (turn on I suspect he means sexually stimulate- as in give an erection)
There is nothing new under the sun. In the late 60's the americans had the nudie cuties- followed by the 'roughies'. The roughies were films which mixed heavy doses of violence and sex.

Roughies
What turns people on is a mystery to me. Why do I get turned on by 2 beautiful girls dancing (naked)? The use of violence in films is nothing new. Foot licking (why do you like to suck peoples feet -for gods sake?) Desmond Morris seems to suggest that people like to be trappled on and lick the feet of women (I suppose this is a male thing) because of masochistic tendencies.
Porn as a commodity can seemingly include anything as long as someone finds it interesting, sexually heat creating. 'Salo' has sexualised violence and is 18 cert.

Rough Sex 2 - Alec?
Interesting. I found Rough Sex a total turn off but I'm still going to watch RS 2 when a friend gets it next week. Curiosity over "Felicity"? Dunno. If there's no review on site and Alec wants one of the Fliss bit I'll try my best.
Re: Your Choice: The New DVD 's
Hi, I don't mind commenting on this. The latest DVD's Gag Factor and Max Hardcore Junior College Schoolgirls are different to the kind of titles we normally supply.
These titles (and some others we list) are not to everyones taste, I agree, but we have had many requests for Max titles and even though he has a bad reputation the first thing he says on the DVD is "Be nice, never use force to get what you want, especially with women."
In an ideal world adults should be trusted to choose their own type of entertainment, without censorship. As long as it doesn't harm anyone else.
In Gag Factor all models are consenting and the girls don't actually puke but they do "heave". In the little featurette you see the girls talking and laughing and making the movie.
The review is clear as to what sex acts the film includes and of course, as always, we offer a full money back guarantee if not satisfied.

Re: Your Choice: The New DVD 's
Jay,
Appreciate the clarification, however...
Max H might say 'be nice' at the start of his DVD, but if he's a bastard for the rest of it, what is the point?
I agree with our comments on censorship, however the very definition you gave on your philosophy to sell porn raises concerns when you start stocking Max Hardcore material, because the girl's consent and well being in his material is very much in question. We've discussed him before on this forum, but claims of rape, molestation and forced sex acts have landed him in trouble before.
I don't believe that "because some people want it" is a particularly great reason for stocking it, because although it's a money winner, there's more at stake here.
I personally think it's a bad move, and would suggest (with respect) that there are THOUSANDS of products and studios you could supply that would earn you much more then pandering to the sick, violent stuff.
Matt.

Or to put it another way?
Jay?s point is a fair one ? about ?in an ideal world adults being able to choose etc? ? although I don?t think any of us could find this place on a map.
And I didn?t say you shouldn?t supply this stuff ? or that people shouldn?t buy it. I just agree with Matt?s main argument:
?I personally think it's a bad move, and would suggest (with respect) that there are THOUSANDS of products and studios you could supply that would earn you much more then pandering to the sick, violent stuff.?
Your Choice has managed to build a great reputation (on this forum, at least) for both products and service. So I guess I?m just surprised you don?t concentrate on developing the market you?ve already succeeded in, rather than going off at a tangent.
Unless of course you?re trying to do both.
Anyway, like everyone else, I shall vote with my wallet ? which will remain firmly in my pocket as far as the ?Max factor? and ?heaving? are concerned.
Did I manage to say all that without adopting a high moral tone? Oh common guys, I?m really trying?

Re: Your Choice: The New DVD 's
I won't express an opinion on whether Your Choice should stock Max Hardcore, because I have never seen any of his stuff (and don't want to).
But I agree that there are plenty of other things Your Choice could stock. As I have complained before on this board, there is very little black and interracial porn available at R18. (Although I happen to be white, isn't this rather tough on the black community??)
Your Choice has a few IR titles, like Gangland #1 and #2, and most of Omar's Big Willy series, but that's about all.
I'm sure there would be a market for more titles, e.g. the other twenty-odd numbers in the Gangland series, Chasing the Big Ones, or Up your Ass. (And before anyone says I am off-topic, these do sometimes feature British girls!)
Also some of the all-black series, like Elegant Angel's 'Superfreaks', of Jake Steed's 'Freaks Whoes and Floes'.
I would be interested in Your Choice's comments, e.g. why they don't seem to stock anything by Anabolic/Diabolic. Is this a copyright problem, or do they just not see a market for it?
