Question About Photocopied STD Certificates

I got my first set of STD certs this month for boy/girl work, only problem is the clinic sent me photocopied certs with a reference quote, although it was signed by hand by the GUM secretary it would certainly be an easy thing to fake.

Now the certs are real, the tests were real and I also had my results direct by text from the NHS but are these going to be rejected by most producers?

I have already done one job using it, but the people I worked with (not amateurs) were also using the same clinic for the first time so knew the certs were genuine as they had received the same treatment.

Will these certs be OK or should I get new certs done now?

Hey elsie,

I would get new certs done and make sure they are the original copies.. There are people out their using fakes and it's not good in my view.. You might aswell get them done to save you from being rejected in the future.. Hope it all goes well!

Its a photocopy with the logo in grey, maybe they are not keen on attracting adult workers but to be honest as their job is to prevent STD transmission I cannot understand why they would want to do that.

The nurse who did the actual tests was lovely but I got the impression the receptionist was trying to put me off when I rang for the certs, and it took them a long time to arrive after a few phone calls.

I might try going back in person and asking for an original but if anyone can reccomend a clinic in lancashire/manchester/yorks who will send originals in the post with no bother then it would be a great help.

Preferably NHS no cost but others if thats a no go.
