I was really shocked by something a model came out with on a shoot last week (I wont name names so dont ask) and was horrifide to think that this was still an active opinion in the industry so had to check. We were talking about levels when she told me that she worked up to hard b/g but wouldnt work with black people after which she then assured me that she wasnt a racist. After my initial thoughts of horror I had tried to reason that maybe there is no difference between not finding black people attractive so not wanting to sleep with them and not wanting to work with the older studs for a similar reason before I remeberd that no there was HUGE difference.

I wasnt going to say anything but I had an e-mail today from a black male performer asking if I was willing to do inter racial, something I assured him he really didnt have to ask. I may well have had a very sheltered middle class existance for this to shock me so much, I thought it was something that was fading through the generations. OF course I will work with black people I do contact work, there for colour race etc really doesnt come into and shouldnt, its certs and reputation that we shoudl all be concerned about.

Interestingly (sorry another long post from Masie) someone mentioned to me last week that girls tended not to like to work with bi guys because of the aid risk! REALLY! Promise me no one is this stupid. I always describe the people in porn as the best bit of my job because they are so open and excepting. Was I wrong?

Unfortunately not everyone is as open minded as you and to be really truthful the not wanting to work with blacks and bi guys thing is a matter of preference to those individuals and reminds me that people in porn are as human as those outside looking in.

After all are we not the same people looking in but living it, therefore some are still prone to hypocrisy, contradictions and prejudices as much as anyone else.

I know a few girls who do have sex with black guys off camera and the reason for not doing it on might be because they dont want to upset their family. Sorry to say Masie, but I've heard people I've worked with say it and I too was shocked. It's 2010 for fucks sake!

I could maybe understand it if it was a guy who said he couldn't do inter-racial in terms of he couldn't be sure he'd get it hard, but it's all part of the job to me.

On a purely arty note- the contrast of the skin tones works well because you can see better where one person ends and the pther begins.

although I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion and I think Davey has totally missed the point of Masies post, however resorting to name calling Davey is a bit low and unnecessary.

I to find is funny that the colour of someones skin is a reason not to work with them, very odd indeed. If they have certs and a good reputation should be enough in this day and age.

It's a niche all of its own, particularly in the states, which suggests that many people are excited by it in one way or another. Some of the buttons which are pressed will be dubious but porn is tasked to get people hard, not to change the world.

....and also there are some deranged tugs from this forum advising new models who advertise work working upto B/G, sending them a private message advising the new models to stay clear doing B/G interracial until her career is almost at end. They claim doing interracial early on in her career will harm her modelling work prospect. doing B/G white on white is fine they claim only interacial B/G will harm her porn career.

There is no evidence I can see to support this stupid advise and of course new naive model will take this advise to heart. I know this bcoz I have worked with some of the models who have been given this advise.

.. for instance I emailed a fairly new female model who advertise on here once, I contacted her for interracial work and she declined claiming she is not doing interracial at the moment but she will let me know once she does and I take this to mean "will consider it when my modelling career is coming to an end" This clearly looks like an example of a model that has been brainwashed by a deranged tug advise I mentioned above. ..and ofcourse if she ever make contact back now wanting to do interracial when her career is nearly at an end she will clearly be ignored. All the more buggling as this same model attends bukakke shoots where guys of any race or color could have turned up.

If you challenge some of the tugs on here giving these model advise to state their case, i'm sure they will remain silent.

If a model is good enough she will get tons of work weather she did interracial in early career or not, Cate Harrington is a living prove of this, she is probably the most consistent top earner for a while now in british porn and she did interracial earlier in her career. Cate did a shoot for me once and I was gobsmacked at her ultra busy shooting schedules, even if she worked in US, she will struggle to beat that schedule.

I'm afraid Melody that Davey has not missed the point of Masie's post (hello Masie, by the way, hope you are well and happy!).

If you go to the O/T forum and Search on Davey as an author to look at some of his posts there, you will note that Davey's views tend to make Nick Griffin look like he's a member of the Labour Party.

In short, to put it mildly, I suspect anyone with a brown and black tinge is unlikely to be at the top of Davey's personal Xmas card list.
