It has to start somewhere, if the Private Clinics (and I've only used RPC and CE, and they give as good a service as Charing X NHS) are the start then the NHS will, over time, follow.

If some places are less good, that is a matter of health concern, and perhaps the industry standardising what they want in a test. Bt you won't get clinics standardising unless they see some body that seems to speak for the industry.

Hard to argue with that level of service Cate but then does it bother you any if someone you work with gets tested at another NHS clinic somewhere in the country that doesnt have such a high level of service?

Its this mish mash of different standards at the core of this issue. If all the clinics offered the same level of service and tests could be authenticated within a reasonable price ie ?10 extra for the service woudl that suit everybody?

I think we can safely say that an online system run by the clinics would not be without a cost attached.

I think those who prefer to go private would do so for insurance disclosure reasons though.

Hep C is in the NHS standard full test, Hep B Jabs are also available for sex workers. Lots of the girls on this forum use NHS clinics so be telling them they are no good which the girls know is untrue only makes them not trust the good work trying to be done by Clinic Express...

This is nothing new Kaz.

People should make up their minds what side of the fence they are on and I dont mean to split the models on this subject but the more models that come in and the more that cross over and do bareback with people outside the business the more we can expect an increase in stds wihin the business.

Thing is if we factor the swingers who are somewhere inbetween then it should spell out to everyone we need an upgrade in the standard of tests in our business and that means a more uniform standard.

Even if the NHS were to do it exclusively at least provide the same standard and the same quality of service thoughout its network and at least on watermarked/ embossed paper.

Thing is to get this level of standard requires a concerted effort on everyones part as its not going to happen at the hands of just one or two dedicated individuals and there are two many people on the wayside waiting for it to happen instead of doing anyhting about it.

as discussing with paul, they'd an excellant idea, especially if you could get nhs to use same system, as up in geordie land, the only place to get certs is from the nhs, it would be excellant to nationally get the nhs to use this system too.
