seems like this credit crunch has the potential to make this business into a smorgasbord for rapist's and whatever freaks that are out there. the slowing down of producers looking for models might open up a great venue for these people to con new and green models.

lets not let that happen, what do you say?

a real producer wouldn't mind being brought into the spotlight to make sure he/she is legit.

better to warn, research and be wrong then to just go along with the shoot by a questional new tog, producer, just to be nice.

yes they might turn out to be legit, and you might be afraid to loose money and your reputation as a model, but why would you take the risk of meeting someone that have nothing good in mind for you!

why take the chance of offering yourself, to give someone you really know nothing about a reference! I have never understood that, its their job to provide whatever needed to prove themselves, its not our job as models to do that for them.

I think you all get my point...

Hi Guys,

As ive received 29 messages telling me not to do the shoot - i thought i should leave a reply to put all your minds at rest........

Im not stupid - yes i have pencilled the date in my diary,
but i am still waiting for a contact number and references - she said she would send me those when she had all the details as she still had to book a male model and sort out a location.

I did tell her i wouldn't do the shoot without all these details and speaking to her on the phone 1st

Im still waiting for the details and if im not happy with everything then of course i won't be doing the shoot - safety always comes 1st,

Not sure what Rocky Dillon has to do with it - as she asked me to recommend some guys and as ive never met or worked with Rocky i certainly wouldn't of recommended him,

has she mentioned using Rocky Dillon to any of you?
there is another Rocky - Rocky Cunningham who ive already worked with, who is fantastic and i do highly recommend him.

Rocky, Dillon, The Invincible Man, Natasha Tah, Red Star Productions, Naz, Jaz and now Daphe ( and there's another female name which escapes me) are all the same person. This person has sent me the same few photos but forgets that he's already emailed me using different names and the same mobile number - this has been going on for about 2 years as that's as long as he's been posting on bgafd for female bg models. Or maybe longer but that's about as long as I've been in the industry and aware of him.
I've posted on UKAP as well as here about him and I've also contacted bgafd on a number of occasions about him and the fact that he has now morphed into a female! The writing style, language used etc are all the same as is what always happens - a number of emails, never any verbal communication, he always sends emails and texts so you won't get to hear his voice. When the time of the shoot approaches you will hear nothing. On a couple of occasions I got a text saying that he'd been waiting for the camera equipment/ use of a flat which hadn't materialised.
On one occasion, he sent me a photo and I felt the photo looked familiar - this was when one of the names used was the Invincible Man, when I checked my mob phone and realised that the mob number he'd given me was exactly the same (as was the photo) as the Rocky character, I confronted him and he admitted that he was the same and that he wouldn't waste my time any more!

Incidentally when this tosser was calling himself Natasha Tah, he sent one of the same photos (ie of Rocky etc) saying that this was the male model I'd be working with!
"Daphne" claims to be a former model yet nobody has heard of "her"! Before I was sure that this was Rocky/Dillon etc, I asked repeatedly for links/photos of "her" but of course was sent nothing, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realise why!
For my security, I will now only do a shoot for someone who isn't known in the industry and/or doesn't have a website if he/she emails me a photo which I would circulate if I were attacked /the victim of a scam etc and this is regardless of whether or not I'm provided with model references.

i have also been chatting to Daphne and aliaises , on MSN for some reason this person does not like speaking on phone if they were genuine they would give mobile number straight away sort location , i was asked i f i would do g/g but cos i dont get my certs next week he/she said you can do oral thats not a professional perfomer , and mentioned again Rocky dillon thats the only performer there is no on e else but sens d no pic altho i di d have one of him a while ago , that was sent to me ,
