where to start?

hi for years i have really wanted a job in the adult entertainment industry. But i just dont know what i would like to get into. I have a nice bit of cash behind me. But just so many little questions does anyone have any surgestions on what i could do?

In front of the camera or behind it?

If in front, you need to sort a portfolio and showreel and put yourself about. Lots, and have a chunk of luck.

If behind, you need to start filming as a hobby until your stuff is good enough, then you can look at the business options, which are either shoot on spec because you can sell it, use on own paysites etc, or convince someone to trust you enough to commission you to shoot as a gun for hire.

That said, if you don't know where you want to be BEFORE you start spending m,oney, you'll lose all your money. Even if you know where you want to get to it's still damned hard.
