I have been contacted by revolver entertainment - asking to meet me regarding work - field manager/model position.

Has anyone else worked for or with these guys?

I hope im wrong its just i had a very bad experience in Barrow 2yrs ago - someone posing as a stripclub owner that got me to barrow on pretence of me being face of the club - i did go - was promised accomadation (b&b) as they said i would need to stay over, i arrived and was met by three suspect blokes who instead of taking me to the club took me for a drink - accomadation was a run down house on an estate in Barrow - i was extremely uncomfortable - especially when i was told this was where pictures were to be taken and that he and his missus had slept with most of the girls after shooting and having drinks - needless to say i left as i hadnt come on a train i had come with a mate in the car.

I hope this is just a coincidence - but id rather check as they have mentioned their office is in Nottingham and they might meet me in Lancaster but probably Barrow - however they couldnt say for sure till a day before.

Not heard of them before and they are very new to the industry

I would say its really down to you BUT take someone with you as a minder and get the payment up front and get a note of what they are asking you down for and what they want you to do.

if in doubt Kitty kat, don't go. It sounds dubious to me. Ask for a landline number as well as a mobile and you can call and check that both numbers match the guys/gals name. And don't go anywhere where they offer you drinks to 'make you more comfortable'. Stay safe and Happy New Year hunny!

The fact that the postal address was Thamesmead yet the address given to the website was Notts sounded very suspicious to begin with.

Presumably someone could trace the real 'overlords' of the operation by whoever registered the PO box in Thamesmead?

have spoken to my frend that originally took me to Barrow - he told me he was sure the blokes name i met was Eddy - there was no strip club and it was a horrible scam - i had friends that were aprroached with the same too.

Hiya there Kitty Kat, just noticed your post, wish I had seen this earlier!!

The answer to this question is definitely stay away from Revolver Models. they have no idea of the adult industry and yes it is run by a bloke called Eddy.

They want models to sign "exclusively" to them, I went along to them in Barrow in Furness on Friday 31st July, I wasn't that bothered about the "exclusive" part, but they don't like it if you already have other shoots booked or planned.

When I walked into the place, went over to the reception and the girl took me to their office ( I also had my hubby with me ) when I walked through the door Eddy got uppity that my hubby was with me and abruptly asked him to leave and wait down stairs!!!!

I had to fill in an application form, not a modelling one but a proper job form ie a job center form!!!

Then when I had completed that went through ALL their rules one of the rules is that NO partners are allowed anywhere (my hubby is my manager, gopher, wardrobe assistant, navigator, tea maker etc.) I can understand on some things, but NOT to travel with you as a chaperone, well what does that say for the company!!

Also you may not get paid on the day but be invoiced??

I have 2 pages of their rules in the car still!!!

They weren't interested in what work that I had done or my experience but got a bit stroppy when I said that I had other work booked in!!

It would appear that if you are an amateur or a 'wannabe' they are interested, but if you have experience then they are not!!!

They also say for boy/girl work they can get you ?500 hmmm, if you dont turn up to a shoot they give the company that you were to show to ?1000 and bill you the model for it!!

They couldn't give me any references from established models/companies!!

I asked them a question about do they get much fetish or gothic work, to which they said "not much" "I said ok, I do everything else any way"

I had not heard anything from them so I msn'ed them to which they seemed clueless, then said they didn't want to take me on as I wanted to do Dom work, when did I say that !!!!!!! I only asked about if they got any fetish goth work!!! I do the whole spectrum!!

PS yes Lauren Langley is on there, but no she does work for or with them as she did not want to be "exclusive" and also she thought that they were dodgy!!
