Re: rates
Not the de facto standard in this harsh economic climate but a guide so dont think every producer is bound by any law to pay the same rate.
This is generally what most established companies pay

Re: rates
Hi im pretty sure you have a good idea anyway and are just looking for verification but i thought i would put some info down here for others that perhaps are wondering too....
Its wrong to take as gospel the rates another model may have got or the rates a few producers have offered as firstly it depends on you as a performer, your looks, and limits etc, and it depends on how keenly the producer wants a particular model.
One thing is for sure though, if youre new and beautiful enough to possibly get in with the big companies, start high.
So an example of high rates:
?350 for one bg scene without anal (350/2.5= 140/hr)
?400 with anal (400/2.5=160/hr)
?450 dp, ie more than 1 bloke (450/2.5=180/hr)
(The numbers in brackets show your poss rate per hour if the shoot lasts an average 2.5 hrs)
A scene should be absolute max 4 hrs as it can include photos as well as film and this can take time. Models used to quote rates like 350 half day ie 4hrs but it can be a problem as what if the 4hr is approaching and some cumshots are still needed. Hence why its normally quoted per scene now. Its best to check with a producer interested in you approx how long the shoot will be and also define the max so you know where you stand. Hopefully you will find the average is 2.5 hours for a scene.
Right, once you have started high and done a few shoots, this is where you have to judge if you are happy with the amount of work you are getting, eg snowed under and sore pussy lol keep rates high.... dried up and bored, lower rates in stages of say 50. But i wouldnt lower by more than 150 (remember can be upto 4 hrs if you dont agree in advance with the producer).
So an example of low rates:
?200 for one bg scene without anal (250/2.5=80/hr)
?250 with anal (400/2.5=100/hr)
?300 dp, ie more than 1 bloke (450/2.5=120/hr)
(The numbers in brackets show your poss rate per hour if the shoot lasts an average 2.5 hrs).
Its a matter of judging if you are getting enough work. At the lower rates you will also attract semi-pros and amateurs, that can be good news or bad. If you are happy working with amateurs and semi-pros you will also find many just want a 1 hr booking (ok also some pro producers as well if they produce mini-clips). At the lower rates you may get more work and money overall with amateurs than you would with a few shoots with big companies.
I just want to go back to a point i made earlier "it depends on how keenly the producer wants a particular model"....
There a quite a few girls looking for work, well ok loads actually. you have to judge how keen they are to have you, compared to other models available. If its pro work they tend to judge on looks first. If its amateur they tend to judge on levels/limits first.
