And how would you know?
(Only joking Dave, please don't flame me!)
My more serious response would be... I know you've been around for a good while, and the adult industry has changed a lot in the past few years. It's grown up a bit (OK, maybe it still has a way to go). Hard work and professionalism count for a lot more now than they did a few years ago.
When I launched the idea for Strictly Broadband (nearly 5 years ago) - a good selection of content from a wide choice of sources, with high quality streaming and good customer service - some industry "veterans" laughed. They explained that you don't need to treat the customer nicely, that adult isn't like any other business, and that the customer will buy what he's damn well given, so why waste money on a good product?
That's not the case any more - we've become almost like a real industry, with trade bodies and everything! Sure, there are some strange characters around still (in fact I believe you've shot for some of them!) but anyone who still assumed you can sell any old crap is no longer in business.

Re: New Cameraman seeks advice
Right time, right place, seems to be the answer.
Re: New Cameraman seeks advice
I assume you're male? Mr. Dark1
Pity, because we as a company (albeit a new company), are actively seeking and encouraging the use of more female crew members.
I would happily talk to any female camera operators, set designers, sound recordists, A.D.'s, etc. who are looking for work.

Thanks Andy. Give me a yell, once you've had the snip.
