Re: New Studio looking for ideas
Hi..
I would suggest you make it slightly upmarket...The normal run of the mill sets are dull and drap and look like they came out the 70's.

Do you think someone might ask you for a bedroom? Wild swing I know but still...
Re: New Studio looking for ideas
we have thought seriously about the bedroom and of course there should be one but want the other sets to be as unique as we can, like some one else said not just thrown together with car boot sales items
Re: New Studio looking for ideas
How about: Launderette,Garage,Pub,Cinema(sets) .....places where everybody goes make it realistic!
Re: New Studio looking for ideas
Me old mate PK at Strand is right. Try and make it as up market as poss as the majority of studio sets shot by photogs look exactly that ( like they were shot in a studio somewhere ). In the 80's Roy Stuart and I used to hire places Stately homes such as Longleat House, Ragley Hall, Clivedon and Clandon Park ( this was when an Italian magazine called Excelsior paid decent money for sets ). If you take a look at most of Suze Randalls sets most are shot in her studio in L.A. and they are usually stunning and clever rather than just normal and boring.
