Models without pictures...

Today I looked at several posts.
Some were from 'toggers asking for models (and I always check the replies from the girls), some posts were models talking about availability - some at short notice.
Nearly all posts from models had absolutely no image or link at all!
Most just had an email in their profile.
Good God Almighty!
One said that she was available and reliable and great to work with etc...
Great but what if I have a site for skinny girls and she's curvy?
What if I only shoot black girls and she's oriental?
What if I work with busty girls and she's flat-chested?
I mean it's so very basic it's unreal!
I appreciate that not everyone is tech savvy but in this age of equality I'm not going to be the one that says girls can't do this stuff - of course they can. There are many on here that do.
I'm amazed I really am - let's face it, photos is what we do. So my friendly advice to models is to bookmark http://www.imagevenue.com/ - learn how to use it (this takes all of five minutes) and then put images in your posts.
Pleeeeease.
I'm on the look out for models right at this very moment but does anyone think I'll book a model I can't see?
I guarantee you'll make more money if you put an image in your post because... (actually the reasons are so obvious they are beyond explanation.)

You can use AIR in this way, without "allowed content" issues.

PS - this is easier in Firefox (right click over and image and choose "coy image location")

It all sounds so easy when you see it on here but it's still like juggling soot when I try to do it. Also,all the computer speak may as well be hieroglyphics to us who have little to do with them throughout the day.
Surely as I said earlier "Browse and Attach" would be so much easier.

As we all know getting models is notoriously difficult. Many just dont seem bothered whether they get work or not. The upside though is when one gets a good model it opens new doors and opportunities for mods and togs alike.
All in all it is worth the hassle. Best to be honest and upfront and that way things always work out.

I tend to not bother following up on models looking for work if they dont have pics.

Googling and searching for them is far too much effort when you have plenty others around you can work with.

I'm sure anyone here would be pleased to talk any model through this process as it would be mutually beneficial to everyone in the long-run.
But take note - as complicated as it may seem (actually it's not - it's often just an issue of understanding terminology so you can press the right buttons) this is so very much a part of your (the model's) responsibility for finding work.
'Toggers are lazy by nature and we won't chase models all day long.
If in any doubt about posting a picture - try this:
Go to a page that has your portfolio etc.
COPY the address you can see in the ADDRESS BAR of your 'Internet Explorer' (or Firefox) program. Then PASTE this address (this address is what's known as a 'URL') into your text when you make comments, advertise yourself etc on here. (or anywhere else for that matter).
Then PASTE the URL into a text document and save this to your desktop so you can always find it quickly if you want to do this again - I'm sure you will.

I have noticed a couple of threads since this one started where models are asking about how to use image hosts like Imagevenue, imagebam, photobucket etc.
Noticeably these seem to be models with plenty of work going on... yet another link between activity and profitability perhaps.

May I suggest that we ('toggers) offer as much help and advice as possible to get these (and other) models up and running with this. It's a small thing but considering the responses (annoyance from 'toggers and exasperation from models) it's not something we should ignore.

Any model wanting help with this can email me for free, non judgmental advice on popping pictures into posts.
I remember when I didn't know anything about forums and boards too.
