A new book I've been dipping in and out of. It has an essay about John Lindsay by David (Headpress) Kerekes. He talks about the pioneer and his mishaps with the law. The essay mentions a film called 'The Pornbrokers' which Lindsay directed. This looked at the Porn film-makers of that era. Of interest is the fact that Lindsay made some of the films in North Wales (;-)), at Aston Manor - a secondary School in Birmingham. He had some over the top film titles, White Hunt, Girl Guides Rape and Convent of Sin
The rest of the book has articles about Russ Meyer, Gay Porn, underground film, and Bodil. The Bodil article is an updated version of the one in the book 'Shock Xpress 2' edited by Stephan Jaworzyn. Bodil comes out as a sad figure. I was relieved to read that rumours of her suicide were just that.
