William, the certs online will be managed by the clinics and access can only be given by you for people you choose to view it and vice versa and only for a limited time you give them as well. The best part for producers is that they can download a pdf copy of it for their files which means you may not have to carry your certs around or if you lose or damage one you can print one off yourself.

The info wil not compromise any personal details and is not available for the general public to view at all.

Thing is, this is going to need support from performers like yourself to work so if you really want it you will have to support it. If you dont, we'll assume you are happy the way things are at the moment.

This is not about UKAP or producers. UKAP are the ones who have helped speak to the clinics. Only the rest of the industry can make it really happen.

I have every confidence that if the models sign off on this then there will be no chance to fake certs as everyone will want to check to see if everyone is in date before agreeing to work with them.

A lot better than expecting people to out forgers would you agree?

In full support!

I generally travel down to the West London centre for Sexual health. They charge ?35, do same HIV testing, swabs from vagina, rectal passage and throat & blood tests.

They check id's before signing over the cert and check against a passport or driving license.

I have found it very hard to find a good clinic in Birmingham. The one I used had a trun around or about 2 weeks and generally forgot appointments! When I did get a follow up appointment they kept giving me an unequivical result and tretaed me like I was mad for wanting to get tested every 4 weeks!

The West London centre is great but would be good to have somewhere a bit closer for the time being until I escape Brum!

I would be more than happy to pay a yearly annual fee to support this - what sort of figures are we looking at and which clinics will be involved in the project?

Cum spray your spunk over my new HARDCORE site!

totally agree with oej !thumbsup!
(and sorry for the delay guy's, as only now viewed this thread.)

whilst, just to add my own Cert info to the post .. being in S.wales and all.

I get tested at The :Newport Royal Gwent Hospital (NhS Clinic.)
This is a Free and open access Clinic which operates from mon-fri.
They carry out both Blood tests and Swab samples on me.
Im Tested : every month (3-4 weeks)
with My Results arriving : in 7-10days.
Cost : Free

simular to what the jigster mentioned - Im not sure if some nhs clinics will participate in the databse (but who knows. hey . )

ALthough , if the performer database , Was only come into certain areas, regions .i.e london etc ... - then i would be happy to travel As a performer to get my certs globalised.

hope this helps.x

Hi All, just as a matter of interest, when I was working in the adult industry a couple of years ago I uncovered a little known piece of info by pure chance, if you go to your own GP and get tested they do it for free ! Because, as a registered patient, the practice has a duty of care toward you !

Depends on the GP Missy Mojo...Seems my GP prefers to out source everything to another department where they put you on a 3-6 month waiting list for anything outside of signing a repeat prescription.

On another note, we were not short of support for the scheme, just short of people turning out for the meeting with the clinics which indicate to them (and me) the industry is happy the way things are where the certs are concerned.

However i am not so I wont be doing any shoots with people unless I can see their certs are in order before I agree to shoot them as this has been a bane to me since doing the occasional pro shoots and if they show me and forget their tests on the day...Then its cameras packed up and out the door for me.

All this agreeing to work with performers who know each other (other than couples of course) is too risky and producers both amatuer and professional should recognise what risks they are bringing upon themselves if something does happen..and it will. Its just a matter of when.
